Personal Experience Reflection Paper

I found that the servers were very addicting and had a unique aspect to them that most servers did not have. Since playing the server I have learned that the economy is OP but it is reasonable. I feel that the Owner and any other staff members involved have been doing an amazing job with keeping the server populated and enjoyable. I also have talked to some of the people on the server and I find the community to be friendly and very enjoyable to speak to. Also I have noticed that the admins tend to stay away from banning and kicking players, they prefer to warn them so they have the ability to fix the issue and still enjoy the server. Also I have learned that the server tends to try and be helpful to any new players and not to be rude and enjoy each others company. Also I love to participate in the reaction tests because they are fun to practice your typing

I have experienced being a Mod, for about 2 months before the server was shut, although while I was mod I managed to help and moderate the server very well. Muting, kicking ect. wherever it was needed. Also did quite a lot of building on this server.

Another one was a small but fun server (this was about mid 2013) and I was a builder there, I helped make the spawn area and if they would tell me to do something I'd do it (eg. help us build this sign for the factions world). I then applied to become a moderator and they accepted me.

I am really active on the server. I played a lot of minigames such as Creative, Factions, OITC, MineFighter, Spleef, Herobrine's Chamber and many more! I have spent my time to this server for quite long. Such as:

TormentHCF: I was a Moderator on TormentHCF for around 3-4 months, and I had a spectacular time while staffing. The community was very kind and rarely ever had a toxic player. My first medium server experience would be on a server mineblast. I was helper for about a month then was offered a promotion to moderator because of my online time and activity on the forums. I was a moderator for about 3 weeks then I resigned because the server was going down, and the owners didn't seem to care. I was very active and played almost every day during the week. Also owner a server called omega factions.​

But i had to resign because i wasn't active enough because i had events going on in my life and i just didn't have time for minecraft anymore, and when i resigned they said i was gonna be promoted to moderator but i wasn't because of my inactivity. After that i still play on the server and i'm great friends with the staff. After that i joined this server called TheRegionMc because Consolidation, Heyimliz_, and Lokiies wanted me to play with them and i grew very fond of the server and after my friends quit i didn't and after my time of playing i decided to apply for staff and one the first try i got accept to be a helper, and a couple weeks later i was promoted to mod and another couple weeks later i was about to be promoted to Ban-Team but the server shut down. I joined that server the day after it opened and i stayed around until the end of the server which was about 6 months. After that i took a long break from minecraft in general but then i came back and i was offered around 2 positions as mod on other servers created by the previous staff team of TheRegionMc. BloodlustMc, and FireFactions. Sadly the servers were never released. But After that i thought i really want to help servers and i started becoming an administrator for servers and the first one that i was admin for was Agora

Like said above, I know many commands and tricks when it comes to commands and administration itself. I could provide new ways to function, and new ways to help grow the community. I would love to keep the server a clean and toxic free place for new players to have a fun experience. I would love to enforce the rules and try to do so better than other staff on the server to further try and grow in the ranks to become even more than a Helper.

Experience: I have learned many ways how to handle something. Not only did I learn from being Staff on those servers. They also made me a better person, and a more mature student.I’m not perfect and I’ve made plenty of mistakes as Moderator, but as many have told me and the key to being successful “You learn from you mistakes”.

My first experience was on a Swedish hub server called MultiPvP which had 20-70 people on. I learnt the basics like /ban, /mute for the correct reasons etc. I was a SrMod.

As a Moderator on here I would catch hackers, help keep chat clean, and help out new helpers. I then resigned from the server as it was going down. I helped out the community a lot.
