In addition, a protocol was created for retrieving medical records, and front desk staff as well as other departments were assisted. Patient records were analyzed, evaluated, and merged to address duplication, researchers were assisted in obtaining records, the research area was maintained to ensure compliance documents met standards by recommendations of the Institutional Review Board. Finally, tasks were assigned to the assistant study coordinator and followed-up occurred to ensure that the assignments were complete.
