My friends and I did a multitude of ridiculous activities together. This time, we have done something a little different, I was at my friend Derek's house along with Drew. We decided at first that it would be an fantastic idea to mess around with a mini basketball hoop, in an insufficient room, with three people. After playing what can’t even be considered a three team pick-up game, I asked, “What if we tried dunking, everyone at once?”, and they agreed. Why I viewed that this was a marvelous idea is a mystery. Three people are jumping in for a dunk (two of us without real basketballs). That's completely idiotic. Perfectly, three of us banged heads and yelled,
“OW!”
“Bad idea. Bad idea," I told myself.
At this point, the three of us were

Any game would be alright. I remembered playing chopsticks and thumb wars when I little. I did those games 24/7. Drew told us that we should formulate a couple stop motion animations. We agreed and annexed the sticky notes.
“I am going to draw a laser gun firing," Derek announced.
“I’ll animate myself dunking," Drew told us.
I was thinking of what to draw when an Idea popped into mind.
“Guys, what if we played hide and seek in the dark?” This idea of hide-and-seek made myself think I was a genius. We unanimously knew it would be a fantastic idea. Before our ridiculous endeavour, we needed food and drinks. While I grabbed the Gatorade, Derek snagged the cookies and Drew acquired the pizza. “Lets watch the news,” I geniously thought. We proceeded to argue and laugh at Donald Trump for no real reason until we noticed an important part. Me and Derek knew that we needed real rules. “If two people are hiding, the seeker should acquire a flashlight somewhere. ” Seeing that it was night, they agreed to the idea. But there was one problem we couldn't agree on. Who would play first. Drew spouted that I would start, considering that I made the idea.
“I’ll play first,” Derek made it clear, he wanted nothing more than to complete
“Bang,” yelled the crowd in unison. We fed off the cheering and screaming home crowd. We used their cheers as our energy. We kept on going. From somewhere in the crowd, I heard someone yell, “come on guys, you’re only down one now.” A harsh realization dawned on me. For all of the glory in the three pointer we just made, we were still losing, and we only had 11 seconds to change that. Inbound, foul; within seconds, their team was at the free throw line shooting two free throws. “The first free throw is…good.” A hush fell over the home crowd. Everyone knew what that meant. It meant that now, the only way to win the game is by the means of another three pointer, and that is only if he misses this next shot. If not, our only chance is to tie the game with a three
It all starts innocently enough, Terry and I playing some basketball in my backyard. Then, Keith and Mary come over, but Mary is too cool to play sports, so we have to do something different. Mary has this great idea that we should write and act in a play. Since no one else can think of anything better to do, we all decide that this idea isn’t that bad.
Then, when we got to our campsite the grownups put the kids in pairs and commanded us to look for firewood. After we took two hours of putting up tents, the kids played marco Polo hide-and-go-seek.The ladies hid first,
I rush into my home and run up the stairs to my room. I jump on my bed and roll over to my laptop and open it quickly. I log onto the One Direction site and see that I made it in time to see the bid. I scroll and try and find my name and I see I'm in third place for the tickets and the time is running out. I've already bid $7000 for three tickets and backstage passes. The reason it's so expensive is because these passes are the last set of passes for their concert. 5sos is also playing so we would be meeting two bands and hearing both of them play.
One night at camp all the campers were invited to watch a movie in the big field. There had been some rules set in place for the safety of the campers. One of the rules was to not go past the orange cones into the woods. Later during the movie Jack Will whispered to August that he had to go to the bathroom, even though they knew it was wrong they walked to the woods to go to the bathroom. As they were walking to the woods they passed Henry, Miles, and Amos who were coming out of the woods.
I gloomily sulked, dreaming about being back home. If I were there, I’d be enjoying a fun game of basketball. Basketball was my favorite thing to do! I looked out the small window of our barrack, staring at the rough land dotted with bushes and weeds. There was no way I could play basketball on that terrain. I sighed… Here at the concentration camp, there was nothing fun to do. That's when the brilliant idea hit me- I could build a basketball
Spot looked at Midnight and said, “Come with me I want to introduce you to a couple of my friends.” Midnight followed Spot through a cave that had tree branches blocking sight from any other direction throughout the forest. Midnight asked, “Where are we going
James Naismith was just 30 working as an athletic coordinator for the University of Kansas when he was told that he had 30 days to invent a game for the soccer and football players to play and stay fit during the winter. The game couldn't contain as much physical contact as football and soccer because the coaches did not want their players getting injured before the season started. ‘The invention of basketball was not an accident. It was developed to meet a need. Those boys simply would not play 'Drop the Handkerchief.’ And that is how one of the greatest games came to life.
In March, during our last team meeting, the team teachers wanted to try something new. Sugarloaf has four core teaches, Mr. Magaw, Mr. Mercier, Mr. Dalton, and Mrs. Kendall. Every month they get to choose a student from their class that they believe is an honor student and should be recognized. The Sugarloaf team gathered in the east gym as they normally do for a team meeting; the leaders announced the prizes and the team leaders talked about rules and missing assignments. Then, as we were all getting ready to leave Mr. Dalton came to the front and told us all that we were trying something we’ve never done before. He had two of the team leaders, Dezirae Givens and Blake Proctor, hold a giant sling shot with a Hostess Cake in the middle.
“Girls, I want you to run this new play,” He demanded, while he got down on one knee and began to scribble something foreign on his clipboard. My head was spinning, I was exhausted, irritated, and distracted. We huddled, then sprinted back out to the court. We continued to fumble the ball around and attempt to block the layups the other team was scoring. The buzzer boomed and echoed across the lifeless gym. We jogged over to the bench, yet Coach Foley had no words.
The crowd erupted with excitement, preparing themselves to witness, what they deem greatness, “Ok, let me break down what events we will be having tonight,” began the announcer, “The three-point contest will be cramped this year because it contains a good amount of players who can really spray the ball,” continued Announcer, “then following the three-point contest we have the world-famous dunk contest which should be fun, and finally to put the cherry on top of the tournament we have our own annual all-star game!”
We had decided that we would start the search where Bryan and his friends began their adventure. We began walking the trails and trying to think where he might have gone, we asked each other “where would you go if you were alone in City Park in the middle of the night” we walked the trials from eight in the morning to seven in the afternoon with no sign of Brian. We decided to call it a day since it was getting dark out and we hadn’t eaten the whole day so we were worn
We have investigated the slam dunk from its humble origins predating even the Big Bang to its present-day status as one of sports' most exciting feats. Every iota of knowledge on the subject of dunking has been presented. There truly is no more to say about dunks as we know them or as they were known to inhabitants of previous eras. Thus, dear reader, we must look beyond the present time, into the uncertain haze of the future, to hypothesize on what dunks will look like ten, twenty, a hundred, a thousand years from now.
We have been working on building a game room in the garage for everyone to enjoy. We recently purchased an air hockey table, table tennis and a foosball table. We considered a few different choices that would make a good addition to the game room and finally settled on purchasing a basketball game. We then had to look around and see which one would be a good purchase for us. We found one that we were interested in and started comparing reviews and made a decision. The ESPN 3 Player Arcade Basketball Game seems to be the perfect choice for us because it is in our price range, it allows for three players at a time and it is safe.
Shrieks constantly emitted into the air as the “it” player enclosed on us. One of the most pleasurable games, tag, integrated itself into a daily ritual during recess. Being extremely elusive, receiving the position of “it” did not happen to me usually, but today this rule did not apply. I screamed, a startled shriek, as soon as a warm, clammy hand slapped my wrist. “You’re it!” Ryleigh exclaimed excitedly. My peers sprinted away as fast as they could, climbing up slides, running towards the basketball court, and hiding behind voluminous trees. I examined my friends, and searched for an easy target to tag. I stealthily scurried under the equipment, hidden under the feet of my peers, which created an element of surprise. I sprang out from under the equipment and put my hand up to the bridge, making contact with an unsuspecting ankle. “Tag!” I hollered, as I realized that I had tagged Morgan. The escape, or mad getaway game had started all over again. Tag was continued for another ten minutes until everyone halted from exhaustion, leaning on the equipment for support and
