A Look To the Future Ten years from now I see myself being healthy, wealthy, and wise. Wealthy though is in the sense that I am financially stable and I am happy. One doesn’t need to be rich to be wealthy. Ten years from now I will be 28 years old, and I think that is a considerable amount of time to try and guess what sort of situations and decisions I will have had to make. However it will be safe to assume that I will have tried to figure out how I am going to pay for college. The most expensive thing in my life right now. I’m definitely renting an apartment or a house. I would like to be married to a nice husband sometime in my late twenties or early thirties. However that is actually not my prime directive in life. Therefore any plans …show more content…
Hairdressers, barbers, and cosmetologists are needed everywhere and from 2014-2024 the job outlook is projected to grow ten percent. Which seems like a small number, but it is actually really fast growing. Fantastic news for me. On average there are 220,600 job openings. Costs really depend on each school and their location. A school in or near a major metropolitan city will likely cost at least $10,000 for a full cosmetology program. The same program in a more rural setting could be as low as $6,500. If I plan to complete a program to become a certified Esthetician or Nail Tech, this will cost more in the range of $3,000 to $10,000 depending on the program requirements and location of the school. I also need to take into account the cost of any kits I need for school as well. They aren't provided at every school after all. For a 15,000 dollar loan it takes about ten years give or take, making monthly minimum payments. Personally, if I have to take out loans, then I will pay extra wherever I can. The sooner you can pay a loan off, the better for you. The interest kills a person. You could spend several thousand more in interest than you even initially borrowed, or almost the same amount as you
Cosmetologists have to strive to make clients happy by giving them their wanted look, making sure the client feels like it’s their go to salon. Prices range from $40 per hour to $26,400 a year. The prices will rise depending on what style the customer wants. For better customer service, one would need to work in a clean environment, in a safe neighborhood where clients can come and have a satisfying time. To get the job they will need to be licensed by the state, a high school diploma, and enrolled in a cosmetology school. A student enrolled in these schools can apply for federal and state financial aid. Federal and state grant programs are offered to eligible students and must be 16 years of age. The highest paid earned more than $41,490 yearly to $12.72 per hour. Cosmetology is a field focused on the treatment of hair, skin, and nails that appeals to people’s creativity and specializes in cutting, styling, and applying chemical perms and color treatments. In a few years cosmetologists can become their own bosses by being independent and one stylist said that “Cosmetology is about bringing out the best in everyone.” Which means that the stylist can have fun doing what they love every day for a future career or part time job in the next few years.
Twenty years from now I’ll be almost thirty-eight, I assume I’ll be married with children and own my own home in new orleans, still working as an esthetician. I'd be making around fifty thousand dollars a year and my monthly expenses would be around two thousand dollars a month and five hundred dollars extra would go into my retirement fund. I would like my children to go to college, but they can make that decision for themselves.
Growing up with a father in the military, you move around a lot more than you would like to. I was born just east of St. Louis in a city called Shiloh in Illinois. When I was two years old my dad got the assignment to move to Hawaii. We spent seven great years in Hawaii, we had one of the greatest churches I have ever been to name New Hope. New Hope was a lot like Olivet's atmosphere, the people were always friendly and there always something to keep someone busy. I used to dance at church, I did hip-hop and interpretive dance, but you could never tell that from the way I look now.

I was incredibly excited. School was starting tomorrow. The first few days were just icebreakers, learning everyone’s names, blah blah blah. Then the real learning began. Of course, teachers started to write our lessons on the board. I started to notice a few changes in what I was seeing. The words they were writing were just...black lines! I didn’t pay much attention to it, I just asked my friends what the board said. As the year went on, it affected me more and more, especially in math. I saw a 2 as a 6, and and an A as an 8.
Over my years of school, one big influence on me has always been sports. Ever since a young age, I have always enjoyed playing and watching sports. In my four years in high school, I have fell in love with the sport of lacrosse.
Between going to school at either University of Arizona or Eastern Arizona tuition is $4,000 to $10,000 each year. I would prefer to not have to take out loans on school, but if I have to I will, because I really want to go to school to get my degrees. To be able to get my fine arts degree I have to get a masters degree in fine arts. I could get my cosmetology degree but its not required. Some school offer cosmetology classes but for the most part I would have to go to a cosmetology school. To be able to would as a cosmetologist all I need is my cosmetology license. Although most places will be more interested with hiring you if you have a degree and have a further knowledge. In my art field my exact degree name would be Bachelor of Fine Arts: Art and Visual culture education; studio art (2-D and 3-D) photograph; visual dimensional studies, communication. As for my
Ten years from now I see myself with children and a job in a local hospital taking care of children. I see myself with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a certification in Nurse Midwifery. My children may be around five years old and just starting school. I will encourage my children to take school as serious as I have and to do their homework. I eventually want to have at least four children but that choice may change as time goes on. I have no plans other than working and raising a family ten years from now. I plan on starting a retirement account early in life to reduce stress later on in
I woke up and took one bite out of my pop tart but that one bite was all I could eat. My legs were shaking, and my heart was pounding. My dad told me, “It is a true honor to even make it this far so go out there and have some fun.” Once I heard this statement, I knew I was ready to go. I arrived at school and boarded the bus. The car ride was an hour and fifteen minutes of hearing the squeaking of the wheel on the bus. My teammates were getting their heads ready for the big game.
Ten years from now I see myself trying to buy a house. First the things I would do would be going to college and finding a job. I think it would be a little difficult but not as bad. Finding a job would be one of the most Important ones because you are always going to need money. Some of the decisions I would make would be living in town for a while till I for sure know where I'm going and what my job is going to be like. I would have to start saving once I get job for the important stuff and not going into debt. Going to debt right now would be a little bad, especially if you don't have a good job and aren't getting paid well. Also ten years from now I would be doing everything by myself. I am not going to be

Just so you know, this is the Big Apple and I rule this town. New York City is filled with tall buildings, great culture, and historical sites. No other city has so much beauty that it takes your breath away; yet, there is a real danger that lurks on the streets. I should know because I am Detective Michael Morgan a United States Super Spy in charge of capturing dastardly villains who are set on destroying our world. Armed with mind-altering powers, Alex Higgins is on the top of the FBI’s list of the ten most wanted men in America. This thug is one of the greatest danger to our world and must be captured and jailed in the vault of death. There is no place safe for him to hide from the law and rumor has it, he is in my town. You break the law here in New York City, you pay the ultimate price: freedom.
So, I made a wrong turn today - literally. My brother called to cancel plans while I was driving, and I ended up somewhere in the DEEP south. (cue banjos) But I am wholly confident that God uses every of my wrong turns for his good.
When I walked into the store, I was greeted by the sales associate, Cathy. She came over and asked me how she can help me today. I replied that I was looking for a new mattress and was told by a co-worker that they had a new Sleep Number bed and I was interested in finding out about them. The associate asked me about my current mattress and what I was looking for in a new mattress. After I answered her questions, she led me over to the demonstration mattress and asked me to lie down. She gave me the demonstration and then asked me to come over to the m7 mattress and lie down on that mattress. The associate then demonstrated the adjustable frame of the m7. She then gave me the laminated pricing sheet and explained that there was a current
Have you ever been so desperate for something that you modify your motive in its entirety? Throughout my life I’ve found myself placed in this frightening situation multiple times; the most confusing of which would be what I’ve endured this year. People in their 20s have it rough. We’re old enough to feel like we’re supposed to know what we’re doing, yet young enough to roll in the tide aimlessly and clueless and it still be acceptable. Then there’s those of us who believe we’ve got it all figured out only to be proven tremendously wrong. I have learned, however, that being tremendously wrong can lead you right where you need to be.
