Another thing at the Fall Fest was food. There was a ton of food like nachos. I wanted to try some nachos, but they were $3.50 for a small amount of them. The fact that the food was expensive for such a small portion is the only reason I wouldn’t want to pay for it. In school event like Fall Fest I also believe food should be free for all the students. It is supposed to be a school celebration right? Fall Fest and Spring Fest are special schoolwide events so why not have free food for those two events? A slice of pizza is the only food I even ate, which wasn’t very good at all might I add. My favorite food is probably pizza, but that pizza was not my favorite. Never have I been so disappointed with food in my
This past year, I have been apart of Naperville Central’s brand new Special Spaces club. When my friend approached me and asked me to join, I agreed even though I had no clue what I was involving myself in. In retrospective, I can honestly say that becoming a part of Special Spaces has been one of the most meaningful, fun, and fulfilling experiences I have had in high school.
Week one has passed by quickly! I think this week was very successful and I can say that I have learned many new things. This week has been an experience for me learning things about the business world. I am not a business major so I was not expecting to take these classes. I was assigned them, but have found them very beneficial. As I read through the first couple of chapters I read things I had heard before. This was a good thing that I could put the information with the terms I had heard previously.
He knew it was going to be a no excuses to lose to weather and it was going to be a good day for fans to watch football tonight. He had met with Kyle Cannon who was the quarterback for the team and a running back on the team named Dion Gordon;
Last summer I wanted to work and earn a little cash and distract myself and not be home all summer. I didn't know where to apply so I applied everywhere I was even open to working in the fields my parents told me that the fields were the last place they ever wanted me to work. My mom and step dad Raul always told me that field work wasn't easy and that it was not for me but I didn't listen.

There once was a story told of a girl who was so call it the “Perfect Debater.” She was fierce, confident, knowledgeable, and she understood how to get people to listen. But in life, no one is actually that perfect. Her only downfall was that she was ruthless and she defended her territory at all cost, her opponent never got to mumble a single word. As I learned in the leadership program, we call this person “The Competing One.” These are the individuals who only pursue their own concerns at their opponent expense, using whatever power seemed appropriate. Well then there’s me, I fall in with the competing ones, the one who is said to be self-absorbed and sometimes ruthless.

Fall, lovely fall, one of my favorite season, because it's not too hot and it's not too cold. I love the colors of fall, and there's no place like Colorado to celebrate it. We recently decided to take a trip up to the mountains to look at the beautiful Colorado Fall Colors. It's when the trees change colors and you can see a sea of yellow, oranges and reds, or maybe just a sea of yellow as shown below. People travel from far and wide just to witness our colors and I don't blame them, because it's beautiful! You may notice that when fall comes around, we tend to eat more comfort foods, and one of those comfort foods that I just love and my entire family also loves is Quaker Oats. I grew up eating Quaker Oats and I remember my mother making oatmeal in the mornings for breakfast before I headed off to school. In the Caribbean we would call it "porridge", and it was usually our go to breakfast meal. It was filling and you know that you were getting a great meal. Now that I'm older and have my own family, I always keep Quaker Oats on hand, whether they be the original or instant, they're a must have in my own pantry.
Fall is fast approaching and that means it's time for sweaters, scarves and boots! I love Fall, the temperature is perfection. The heat and I do not get along, however the cool, crisp air and I are BFF.
There I am standing alone at the top of Mount Everest. I have everything I need to go back to the bottom. I don’t use any of it. I am a soldier, and my mission is not complete. Alone, I am still not afraid. Temperature is 28 degrees, but I am not letting it affect my skills. I walk alone through the dark, eerie woods. It has been 32 hours, and I have still not completed my objective. I was sent to assassinate the leader of an military trained group. The group was out here training to intercept signal for a helicopter transporting cargo to an unknown military base in the valley of the mountain Everest. I have intercepted their signal and found out where exactly they were located. I found them, and it wasn’t an easy mission. Many

On a Sunday afternoon, I hang out with my friend to a local event hold by LA Times, which located at University of Southern California. When I got there, the first thing that got my attention was the books booth. I think the booth was too small because there was really crowded. However, I realized that a massive amount of people actually enjoy reading. I am not a good reader, but this kind of spirit influenced me that I ending up purchased a book. I think the best thing was that the books were so cheap, and be honest, I can spend a whole day finding books that I might interested in. After I left the books booth, I saw a conversation going on. I am not really into in, but I thought that this is a good opportunity

Last sunday, I went to Makers Fair in San Mateo. It was surprisingly really fun. I when to Makers Fair with my mom, and she enjoyed it as well. When I first, came in, I saw tons of food, people, and the dancing robot. While we were there we saw a man riding a piece of wood with a small wheel underneath, we learned about food,saving the environment, and how a machine can tell how someone is joyful. Because I learned so much, I will share with you my top places.
One foot, two foot, three. I was loosing my stamina and interest for hiking as I neared the top of Peak Six Breckenridge. I had to get there soon or I knew I’d miss my run. When I finally reached the top a collapsed on my side and took my skis off my back. With the click of my bindings I slipped and skated my way across the ridge to the drop-in. It was my final run for my national placing.
