It was one of those days that just felt like everything was going to be all right. I did what I regularly do when I wake up, brush my teeth, put on my clothes, and then go and play. I was just a few years old, and to me just running around was fun. Me and my brothers were outside just like most kids would be. There were birds chirping all around us and there were also different kinds of animals. We were outside for a very long time and we were having fun so the time just flew by, and it turned from birds chirping to the sound of crickets making noise. We were chasing my little brother around and my parents were inside and I could see their shadow threw the window curtain. They would look out once and a while to see what we were doing. We

When I joined the military, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. It is one of the main reasons why I decided to join the Reserves and not Active duty. The other main reason was because I knew the Reserves would still pay for college while I was only active one weekend a month. Growing up in Killeen, Texas – I was right beside one of the largest Army post which is Fort Hood. I had a lot of friends whose parents were in the military, and two distant cousins who were also in the service. All I knew, (or thought I knew) was they had good money.
This summer, I took a shopping trip to target for a late night snack attack. Before checking out at the cashier stand, I strolled through the one dollar spot. If there’s anything I’ve gained from my mother, it's to never ignore a good deal. It was mainly cheap plastic toys for kids but, yet something caught my eye. A Dr. Seuss section, filled with little metal lunch boxes, pencil pouches, sippy cups, and pencils. From Green eggs with ham to One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. I immediately started sifting through these goodies. Dr. Seuss had been the foundation to my reading journey. Reading all his books since I was six. For Dr. Seuss to fit into my epiphany moment, let me give you a brief but important background to me, Belinda Coronado.
When I was younger around the age of 8-10. I think it was an a saturday and I was playing pokemon on my silver Gameboy. Mom then came in the room and explain to me that we were going to my grandma Agar’s house to go swim in their huge clear cold water pool and eat at favorable cook out. But my mom also said I had to keep my Gameboy trapped at home, that broke my tiny heart . So we arrive at my grandparents big white house, I also see all of my family and my grandparents eyes as they followed our car while pulling into the large drive in.
In 1951 my grandfather first stepped foot on American soil thanks to a workers permit. As you expect before entering my grandpa was given a thorough body check where he would undress and would be checked for any diseases if found any would be sent back.
Auditions for the spring production of The Sound of Music quickly approached. My vocal chords did not understand the importance of that audition to me and refused to overcome my laryngitis. Rehearsing multiple times a day, drinking lemon tea with throat coat and Ricola, putting myself on vocal rest, I made every effort necessary to prepare. The day of auditions, I avoided all dairy and caffeine. After school, I nervously traversed the halls toward the choir room, every note of "That's Rich" from Newsies ringing through my head. Competitors passed audition forms throughout the room, and my hand deftly filled out the familiar paper.
This happened in January of 2009. I was 5 years old and I lived in Utah in a blue house. It was one where the stairs to go up and down were there right when you opened the front door. My room was at the end of the hall. It was a normal Sunday. We came home from church and ate lunch. I think we had macaroni. After we finished eating and washed off our plates, my sisters and I left the kitchen and we went into our room to play.
I could tell you so much about me like I have moved 3 times with my mom but never with my dad, or I could tell you more about when I lost my cat Egon but that is not what I am going to tell you about. Today I will be telling you about all about me.
It was Friday afternoon. I was 7 or 8 at the time. I had just come home from school and my grandparents were upstairs napping. My parents and sisters were gone and the house was completely quiet. I was scared of the silence and decided to go watch TV.
It was early morning and the Colorado sky was still a greyish blue when my babysitter had arrived early. This was when she got a call from my mom as she asked if she could talk to me, so, she handed over the phone and I heard her voice ring out
Ally’s family is very wealthy but, their money couldn’t help her father’s sickness, he died in 1947. Her mother remarried to a rich man that had a daughter of his own. Ally was sure that her stepsister Ally hated her guts she just didn’t know why. Ally hated that her mom had to choose a man with so much money because it felt like he was trying to buy their love.
One day at my grandparents cabin I woke up got off my cott and walked outside
Walking into a restaurant that serves almost nothing but pizza, which is something you have never had before, kind of frightens you thinking you might not even like the pizza. Once the waitress brought out this steaming hot pan with gooey, cheesy, and mushy pizza on it made me wonder why I have not tried this any sooner. It made my taste buds crave this taste for the next two weeks. Another thing I’m crazy about is chicken alfredo. My mother served this delicious dish to me for the very first time when I was eleven years old. It was so creamy and moist. The sauce in it gave you a million different tastes; the chicken in it was so moist and juicy. Lastly, a couple of months ago I went to Outback steak house in Tupelo; they accidentally
Late one August night way past my bedtime, My two Cousins and I were on the living room floor trying to pick out a scary movie. Then I saw my stepmom walk outside. I heard my Dad snoring and my little sisters were all sleeping.
It was the summer of sixth grade year we were going on vacation and it was going to be surprised. I couldn't work my stomach was in butterflies my parents were going to tell us today where we were going. Suddenly the door opened and my mom and dad walked thru.
