I remember when I was out with my family on our yacht and we were all playing in the water of the back of the boat. But after a while all the others decided that they would get out and go to the beach, but I wanted to just keep playing in the water around the boat, so I did. But just as everybody was getting ready to get into the little dingy, and I was of the back of the yacht in the water, I could see something black poking out of the water. “Shark” I yelled hoping to get somebody to help and pull the line that attached one of the kayaks to the yacht, But no everybody screamed get the camera. As I was trying to clamber myself up
It was sometime around 6:00 p.m. on a Thursday night in the middle of January 2016. There was a swim meet going on and it was just about to start. The teams were warming up and getting ready for the meet that was due to start in the coming hour. I was warmed up and concentrating on the race listening to music in my newly acquired platinum studio beats. The music was loud and the nerves were setting as I walked into the locker room with my friend and teammate. As we passed I said good luck to our teammate who I was racing against in the 200 free style. Then out of know were he pulled my friend to the side and whispered something in his ear. I didn’t hear what was said as I had continued to walk. My friend came over to me and I asked what he had said and he told me. He told me
I remember growing up at our house on the river. It was so much fun and there was so many great activities to do. We could go swimming in the river, take the boat out, or even just lay along the pretty white sand. It was like a little beach which was really fun. I remember one summer my parents let me get a baby duck. The duck was yellow like the sun and had a little brown spot on his head. I named him dot because of the little brown dot that he had on his head. That duck and I were tighter than than two peas in a pod. He would always follow me around whenever I went on walks and would even go swimming with me in the river. Those days sure were fun. I would even take him on golf cart rides which was pretty sweet in my opinion. One day though things turned sour. We were taking our daily walk like we would every day and we were keeping a fast pace. Dot’s little legs wobbled forwards and backwards as he tried to keep a pace with me. It was pretty funny until it wasn’t. All of a sudden a hawk swooped out of nowhere and picked up Dot with its sharp talons and carried him away from the safety and security of me. It was very tragic indeed. I remember the days after that I’d walk around with my little bb gun that I got for Christmas trying to find the hawk that took my beloved Dot away from me. Those days were sad and I would miss him so much. Eventually though I moved on like any normal person would but there will always be a piece of me that is missing without my beloved pet
Tonight’s towering rain drowned out the footsteps. Those rushed, stumbling footsteps that resemble the agility of a drunken soccer mom on a rough night. I’ve grown to love them throughout the years really, and was almost disappointed in the weather taking that away from me. No matter, professionally speaking it helped the whole ordeal go smoothly along. It’s honestly a rare treat to get off this easily, most of the time I have to get others involved and it’s all just a mess the officers gotta clean up in the morning. No one wants that, do they? So generally, the rain was a blessing in this jumble of sin.
They thought we'd go down without a fight, but they were wrong. So very wrong."
I was with my family and the stop and not a lot of gasoline day but we found a small country that almost abandoned I did not find people and I felt as if someone was watching us and I thought that i was going to give but It was wrong me and my family are looking to see if there people to give us water and we could not find anybody but we realized that they are hiding they think that we are bad because I already had a lot of people who do not stop in the small country and I told them that we are not bad that we did not come to buy water and person come out and asked them if they sell waters and the person said they are grabbing here they got lost and I answered we did not run out of water the person said yes and we said thank you we were thirsty
One summer day, friends got together for a boating party. There was this one girl named Natalie. Natalie was afraid of the water because when she was young, she was into surfing. One summer day the water was very calm, then out of nowhere a massive Great White shark came out of the water and bit her arm off. So she decided she was going to go on this boating party but, was going to wear a life vest the whole time no matter what happened.
There was a time I remember being at a friends to swim. We had just put our sunscreen on and did not decide to wait until it had dried to our skin. Within a few hours we all had burns on every inch of our body. For the next few weeks my back was bright red and soon I began to peel. It was like taking paint of a wall when it came of my back. That was a time I realized that reading the instructions can get you a long way away from torment. For a week I had realy bad sunburns on my shoulders and for some odd reason on my legs.
I remember a time in my life not too long ago when my family and I went white water rafting for the first time. We had been spending some of our summer vacation at a cabin in the Smokey Mountains, close to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The next day we would experience feelings of exhilarating excitement, with a sense of suspense and anticipation as we rafted down the Nantahala River.
I was able to pull up. the water level was rising to the ceiling, I took another deep breath and was pushed back underwater. I was hit again in the head and don’t have a memory of what happened after that.
I was tired, sore, angry, and anxious. As thoughts ran through our heads we slowly lost hope in ourselves. This was our final time to shine, but could we live up to the expectation. I never thought that we were going to get the state cut.
In a school of 2,400 students, the swim and dive team is relatively tiny: fifteen people. Consequently, we don't receive much recognition. Many don't know the location of the pool, or that a swim team even exists, or believe that swimming is a real sport. However, our size has never been a problem for me. Yes, we constantly lose to bigger teams and know we'll lose, but that doesn't alter our mindset; we still persevere. Also, within a smaller team, there's a greater sense of family and loyalty. Swimming and diving isn't easy; it's cold, painful, and nerve-wracking, but we endure it together.
When you wake up on a tile floor, it is normal to have a ache in your back. My plan for the day was to go, find, and collect water. I grabbed a spool of fishing line and tied the end to my door frame, and I put the spool in my backpack, so that when I walked I made trail of string to follow back home. With this safety measure in place, I went out in search of water. After only a few hours of exploring, I heard the trickling of water. I bee lined for the source of the noise. I had found a fresh water spring! I fell to my knees, and started drinking. As far as I was concerned, this was the best tasting water on God’s green Earth. I filled several jugs that I had brought from the store, and went on exploring.
Noah was born on January 20, 2006. He was a few weeks early, and weighed in at only 5 lbs., 4 oz. He showed early on what a fighter he is. He is my hero – C.A.F.
I finally got the call that I had been waiting for far a very long time. My dad was finally going to let me take the new boat out on the water for the first time by myself. I was so excited, I couldn't wait to invite a few of my friends on the boat with me. As soon as I got off the phone with my dad, I anxiously called up a few of my friends to let them know what was going on. They happily agreed to come out on the water with me. Once I arranged for my friends to come on the boat ride, we all met at my house to prepare and plan for our first adventure on the boat for a day on the water. As we were preparing the boat my dad explain to us the importance of safety on the boat and procedures before putting it in the water. He told us to make sure
Visiting at the waterfall can be a way to spend your day off. Most of the waterfalls’ location is very far away from town or city. Some places you might have to drive for miles and walk more than ten minutes to get there. For me going to see and enjoying at the waterfall is better than staying home or sitting into your own backyard. I like the natural beauty, and I believe that human body are bond with nature. One off the best natural that I feel in love with is waterfall and it is the best place for me to relieve stress.
