It was a midnight fall day and the wolves were howling, pigs squealing , cows mooing, and chickens clucking. I had just got home from work and immediately took a shower and got something to eat. I went to bed after I ate. I was still hungry and then I went downstairs to get a snack and my hallway and kitchen light was flickering and it sounded like the studs in my walls were moving as if there was wind pushing them. I had checked all of the rooms for open windows but none of them were open, I checked doors and the air conditioning unit next. There was no cause why the studs in the wall were moving. I had ignored this and got some chips and carried on back to my room. I had fallen asleep and had a bad dream about a bear eating me alive and then I woke up. …show more content…
I jumped out of bed and grabbed my 30-30 rifle thinking someone was in my house. As I walked down the creaky wooden steps I heard the voice again it sounded like they were in the kitchen, so I had walked slowly and quietly into the kitchen pointing my gun in front of me and I heard the voice again, this time I heard the voice and the upstairs floors were creeking like someone was walking in my room or close to it. The safety was off and my finger was on the trigger ready to shoot. I rushed into the room and started yelling at the top of my lungs get down on the ground! No one was in there so maybe I've got the wrong room. I got very frightened as I hear the voice getting louder and louder. I shut myself in the closet door for my own safety, chills sending down my spine as the floor creaks closer and closer. I'm holding the door knob with one hand and have my finger on the trigger in the
Then, I heard footsteps getting louder and louder, so quickly hid in the closet. I could hear my heart beating faster and faster as the person kept getting closer. About an hour later, I saw a shadow of a strangely shaped person leaving the room and locking the door. I was relieved and scared at the same time, I didn't know how to get out. So, I first tried to escape out of the black and blue colored window. It was very hard to open,
And all of a sudden we hear the high winds screeching creepily from outside our house, the branches were loudly scratching and scraping against the house loudly. As I looked around I got more and more freaked out. There were boxes everywhere creating shadows from our flashlight and creating darkness that the flashlight couldn't fill. My entire family was scared, as scared as a chipmunk would be if a lion was in it’s tree. My Dad was searching for something in a sea of darkness, my mom trying to comfort my now crying siblings with a horrifying worried look on her face and me thinking to myself, When will it be done, what damage will it do and Oh No. As I thought I heard something crack from outside of my house, and then
with a pound in my chest i darted as fast as i could with them close behind . i had to find a way to get away. i turned abruptly down an alley and hid. as they dashed past the alley i crept out slowly to be cautious . suddenley somthing seized my arm i saw a red and blue lights and everything went black. i awoke not knowing the time were i was or anything . i was scared suddenly i heard a voice a deep husky voice asking how i got in to this horrible place my vision started to become clear realizing i was in a dark cold cell i asked the strange voice who he was he i heard footsteps slowly walking toward me asking again how did you get in here. just as i started to answer there was a bang i lurched foward realizing it was just a gaurd. he took my arm and took me into a room the lights were dim but it was bright enough to see the mans face. he threw me to the ground and started to pace he spoke to me saying " the rules around here are simple
There had been a rumor going around Bella Ford's school that some kids had died in an abandoned mine shaft a couple of days ago. Greenville, South Carolina was known for their abandoned mine shafts and underground train tracks. Jordan, Bella's friend, decided that she wanted to explore the mine shaft after school that day. Bella was very uncomfortable when they told her what they were planning to do but being the good friends they are, Bella and her other friend, Alexis, decided to tag along on to this so called "adventure." Bella and Alexis stood in shock and Bella's body became to freeze as soon as Jordan told her what she was planning to do. She has never experienced anything like this in her life. As Jordan kept explaining all the things
Nell passed out trays to the customers, just like she usually did, but this time, it was quietly and sadly, not like her usual self. Even though the coffeehouse the packed full with men, the whole place was filled with sadness and despair. “Poor Mattie, why did she have to go?” cried Nathaniel, leaning over the ornate coffin.
Whoever said the early bird catches the worm deserved to be shot. Genevieve pulled the blankets higher over her head after slapping her blaring alarm off. For the time being anyway. Give it 15 minutes and it would be going off again, simply because she knew one alarm would just not cut it. Maybe she could attempt to sleep through the second alarm. Or maybe it was the third? Oh well. Genevieve dozed off again, zoning back into consciousness a full half hour after what was actually her fourth alarm and she kind of panicked for a few seconds before remembering: no school.
Before he opened the door to the ritual room he turned toward Andrew and told him. “And I see that fire in her Mother’s eyes.”
Hearing the familiar beep of cops he threw away the cigarette and tried to run. He made it a few feet before he was slammed into the brick wall by a heavy set Caucasian male. Struggling against the wall the cop slammed him once again making him wince in pain. “Name?” Knowing his brothers were going to kill him he decided to keep quiet as they searched him for other illegal items. He knew he didn’t have any so he let the search continue when he felt them grab his wallet. Sighing as they opened it and his name flew from their lips.
Suddenly nervous that there was a stranger in the room, Johnny became silent and moved as best as he could towards Roy. Sensing the anxiety, Roy held Johnny’s hand.
Molly, Jake and Ashley slowly walked around the Amazon rainforest, examining the wildlife. They were on a reasearch trip for their college biology class, and their group’s assignment was to take notes on the flora and fauna so they could write papers when they got back to the campus. As they walked, they pointed things out to each other, and Molly wrote all of their observations down into her notebook. They were so intent on their research that none of them noticed the class start moving in the opposite direction. Finally, when the sun started to set, Ashley spoke up.
Damn, I am counting down the days like never before. Since Aileana has come back into my life it’s harder than hell to be away from her. Duncan has been trying to keep me occupied with crazy antics on our down time. It has helped some, but the bond is so strong that Aileana is always in my head. My body is agony in wanting her. I can feel her thoughts, even all the way out here on the drilling platform. She still is fighting the pull her body and mind has with mine. I can feel her need for me. The Selkie magic of our joining is too strong for either of us to fight.
Hi. You all seem pretty interested in me, or at least I can only assume so since you’re all letting your eyes rest on me as I sit here on your desk. Some are even touching me and quite honestly, I feel a little violated. That’s besides the point. I’m gonna tell you how a lemon like me got here on your desk.
Ianto is back in the archives, up to section L. There has been a hit and run; Gwen recognized the name on the police scanner. She spent the better part of an hour convincing Jack that the accident might have something to do with an energy pattern Toshiko was watching yesterday. Ianto listens to them bicker, barely hiding his amusement. But Jack finally gave in when he realized that she would never let it go. So, instead of fighting, he suggested a doughnut run on the way. As he left, Jack shot Ianto a questioning look, silently asking if he would like to come along. Ianto responded in kind, begging off with a mock scowl, happy to avoid Owen’s complaints during the ride. Also, he was afraid that someone might notice the intermittent blush that
My poor house, peacefully sleeping on a Thursday in late November is startled by a chorus of slamming car doors and host of angry voices.
Lying in bed in the middle of the night while sleep eludes me, a noise breaks through the silence. Oh my God! What was that!? Maybe it was just my imagination, or maybe it was just the house settling. There it is again! I must be hearing things. I get cold and my body starts to shiver uncontrollably. I peek to where the sound comes from and I could swear I see something through the dark room; it appears even darker than the surrounding area. Oh my! I think it just moved. My breathing becomes labored and I pull the covers over my head, trying to calm myself down while making my brain work through what just happened. Was I dreaming? Or did I just see a ghost?
