Ever since the day I decided to join community college, I knew that I wanted to become electrical. My academic experience at BCCC is at the end of the chapter so far I have 3.733 GPA out of 45 credits. The classes I took and the projects I have done provide me Mathematics, design, physics and electrical technology knowledge. My educational experience has prepared me for the next level of coursework and also helps me to gain the qualifications to advance in this field. Throughout the 0ne-half year, I am member Phi-theta Kappa honor society, engineering club, and mathematics club. I have some limitation extracurricular activities such as research, internship and student competitions due to personal reasons and taking extra classes for transferring
The first word that comes to my mind when I think of Rutgers University is the place of opportunities. Variety of successful people with good experience are being a member of this society would be full of blessing and beneficial privilege. As a future Rutgers student as I wish , I am sure I will be able to combine my strength , patience and thinking level with the high level of education in Rutgers . I also was picked to join the national honor society in my school as I have the highest GPA. I felt anxious about attending RU. Now that I have been here a week I am feeling motivated. Living close to campus gives me the ability to be completely immersed in the college lifestle, therefore, allowing me to have the chance to join various clubs and the chance to use the many resources that will advance my academic career. Being able to join a club here at Rutgers will help me be able to feel like a Rutgers student. The amount of opportunities this school has is endless, and I plan on taking full advantage of such benefits.
There are several things I hope to gain from my experience as a student at California Baptist University. Such things include, a community of God loving, supporting and encoring friends, a Christian based education and opportunities to grow into the person God created me to be.
Throughout my educational experience I noticed the discrepancies with regard to the advantages my peers possessed. In high school as I began exploring what career I wished to pursue, I experienced inferiority as my classmates who’ve taken the ACT three times, visited college campuses, and have had resumes ready since the 6th grade unintentionally mocked my lack of college-readiness. However, my ignorance wasn’t intentional, my parents never reached a high school education in Mexico, they couldn’t pass down SAT tips or acquire internship opportunities for me. I realized it's vital to pick up the pace to avoid being left in the dust akin to countless others in my situation. Henceforth, this statement resonates with my experience, I interpreted
East Carolina University is and has always been a dream school for many students including myself. I have grown up hearing about the University and it is nothing short of spectacular. Many family members of mine have attended East Carolina, and I have always pictured myself at this school. It would be an honor to be a pirate. Throughout high school I have struggled in Science and Math. I know I could have done better in high school but in life you can always do something better, im eager to push myself more and work harder than ever to succeed as an adult, if given the chance There are many times when I should I have put school in front of my extra curricular activities such as dancing, art, work, tennis, and swimming. However, all of those
It is Sunday morning in Miami, but for me today is a new beginning where my independence start and I can use my time wisely. Therefore, I decided to travel to the beach, with the windows down having the wind run through my hair and having my favorite song "Independent Woman" play on the radio. The sound of the waves of the ocean it was incredible and peacefully, which reminds me of the feeling of comfort when I am sitting on Brandon. Another example why Brandon is important in my life, it is because, during high school, I spent plenty of time waiting for the bus to travel to work and home, and in today's day time is valuable. However, I lost time being incapable of buying me a car. Missing the bus plenty of times and having to count on my friend
At Norwalk Community High School, I am in the Top 12% of my class, earned a cumulative GPA of 3.6, received an Academic Bar and Honor Roll for past 3 years, and inducted into the National Honor Society. I have challenged myself in the classroom by taking several AP and community college classes which at this time I have earned 18 college credits. Outside of the classroom, I am involved in several activities: Football, Basketball, Tennis and Concert/Marching Band. I have lettered in Football and Basketball for the past 3 years, Tennis
they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please
When I first heard about Berry College, I thought it was just another school in Georgia. My friend told me about it and I thought maybe I should look into it. I put it aside for some time until I saw a picture of this beautiful building. I was taken away by the architecture so I looked up the building and realized it was part of Berry College. I feel like in that moment, I felt in love with the surroundings of the school. I looked more into it and saw that it had everything I was looking for. The environment, the classes, and the activities, it was just perfect. So I have to say that I'm attracted to the feel of the campus and the never ending size. I know what I see it's only on the outside, but I can't wait to see what it has to offer inside.
UNC Wilmington has been my top pick for the college I want to attend to obtain my Bachelor’s degree in Business ever since I was a Junior in high school. I applied for the fall 2016 to spring 2017 semester my senior year of high school and was not accepted into UNC Wilmington. I knew I had a big decision to make and I needed to figure out what I was going to do since I was not accepted into UNC Wilmington. I had been accepted to other universities and I could have easily attended one of them instead but I knew where I really wanted to be was UNC Wilmington. I finally made the decision to take one year at Cape Fear Community College and work hard to get my GPA up to where it needs to be in order to be considered for the fall 2017 semester. I realized that
Wilmington started out as home, then became just a vacation. After years of moving and resisting the pull to move back, I finally made the best and brightest decision I think I have ever made. I am moving home, and in the process, I thought there would be no better place to further my education than The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I have recently taken a year off in between high school and pursuing my college education, and frankly, I think it has been one of the most humbling experiences of my life. I have learned to appreciate everything that was taught by my parents and the schooling I have received. In that year I took part in America's workforce constantly facing the struggles of being independent and caring for myself,
Twenty-six years ago. I began the quest to find the perfect college. As I drove down the driveway of Bay Path College, I knew this was the college I was going to attend. I was drawn to the rural setting, the beautiful campus and the small academic community. My intent for life after high school was to get my associates degree, earn some money, then begin working toward my bachelor degree. In retrospect, I did not possess the confidence or drive needed to be a good student. I struggled for the next couple of years to earn my Associates degree, however was apprehensive to commit to the time or expense it would take to continue my education. After a very long break in schooling, I now approach education with a new mindset and ready to commit
Upon considering the events and experiences that have been a precursor to my interest in CCU, I am burdened with the decision of expressing a single cumulative moment that bears the most gravity upon myself to this point. Could it be the diligence of a dedicated family that bears the most impact? Could it be the countless teachers, instructors, and counselors that have selflessly invested in me? Is it the economic, political, or geographic tides that have surrounded my existence? Perhaps it falls within the lines of the many passages of books read or entangled in the conversations made by superior minds? Or is it held in the delicate grasps of a fragile moment too unknown to be remembered and too small to be noticed? Could it be that, in a
On Thursday, August 20th 2015 I was accepted into College of Southern Nevada. On Friday, August 21st, 2015 I arrived onto the CSN West Charleston Campus at around seven o'clock in the morning to be one of the first people to take the math, reading, and writing placement tests for the day. After I took the placement tests, I went to the Student Recruitment office and spoke to a woman named Kimiko Walton. I told Kimiko about what happened to me and she recruited me. Afterwards, I purchased my textbooks from the bookstore (a typical mistake made by college freshmens). As I existed the double doors of the CSN bookstore, I told myself: "Nobody can give me the life I deserve expect myself..." On
Simpson Anne. Session1. JournalI feel like my experiences in life have shaped me into the person I am today. I feel that life has it ups and downs. I love God and know he is always there for us. A favorite scripture verse is John 17:16.”They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.”My dad was a minister. I am thankful that I grew up in a strong Christian home. I chose Colorado Christian University because I wanted an academic community that loves God. I feel in my short time so far at CCU that I have grown as a Christian. For example, I have more boldness to witness to people about Christ. What were some assumptions I had about CCU before I started my classes? I assumed that I would not have support from my fellow teachers and classmates.
