I love football, football has been my life for as long as I can remember. From the time I was one till now. My parents told me stories of me when I was young watching football on the TV and I would throw my little foam football around the house as if I was the starting QB for the team I was watching. I learned how to play football from my dad and also by just watching football; my dad never played but watched so much of it he knew almost everything and pasted his knowledge to me. My dad and I would watch football every saturday and sunday and just by watching I learned a lot. Football has really helped me out as a person by teaching me how to work as a team, help me make friend, and also how to handle adversity. Football has also taught me how to get up when I have been knocked down and to keep trying my hardest and doing my best and good things will happen. Football has also taught me to never take anything for granted like having a big lead or being undefeated, it has taught me anything can happen so don’t take anything for granted. Football has helped not only me, but many others with stress …show more content…
I love football to much to just leave it behind that’s the main reason why I want to do something like being a coach or doing sports news for my job. Football has been my life forever and I just don’t know what I would do without football in my life I don’t know what I would be doing, or how different I would be without football. I love football and always will and I am glad that I was able to start playing and watching football at a young age because football has been a big part of my life and I am so glad I was able to be apart of this amazing sport that changed my
In my opinion it is the best sport that I have ever came in contact with. Between Baseball, Basketball, Tennis and Track I believe that Football is the greatest sport ever created. It is my favorite thing in popular culture right now. The game of Football also allowed me to build character and grow as a person, and it taught me how to preserver through adversity. This game has enhanced my perception about commitment and sacrifice. This sport is the reason that I am able to attend the Howard University. This game is also a good stress reliever; I mean who wouldn’t want to hit someone legally without getting in trouble.
Well for me, football is my top favorite sport. When I was in school, I had a problem with authority, and teachers would often make me mad. I tried hard to control my aggression, frustration, and anger. I jumped into drugs and cigarettes to fights and gangs. Because nothing I tried worked, I went to football tryouts. I felt happy and excited for the first time in a long time; I eventually got on the field and ran and ran.
Football remains the most popular sport in America and the ninth most popular sport in the world for a reason. Since its creation in 1869, football has played a fundamental part of American society. Every Sunday, my family along with millions of other Americans turn the television to CBS, NBC or FOX to watch their favorite football team go to battle. My family and I bleed burgundy and gold and root for the home team the Washington Redskins. Americans including myself display great intensity and passion for the game of football and the result of the game often changes my attitude for the better or worse. Watching the game on television may come as exhilarating and entertaining, but playing the game creates the best times. Overall football has made a severe impact on many people’s lives. Football teaches unique lessons in a hands on manner which helps athletes like myself sustain a much more adventurous life. Football has made an immeasurably positive influence upon my life, but the sport has its dangers. Football changes lives.
Football is a game of passion, a time when nothing else matters and the only thing that matters is going out there having fun and fighting for the guy next to you. Football has always been something that I loved and had a wild passion for. I’ve made friendships and memories to last a life time and I can always be grateful that football did that for me. Now of course I’ve had some bad memories during football as well, I remember walking out of the film room on the last day of spring ball and having Coach Antle grab me and say “Gage, I think I want to try you at a new position, I want to put you at defensive end. We need you more there and we think you can really excel there.” I remember being so furious, I had played linebacker ever since I could remember and now the last day of spring ball my senior year everything was about to change.
Football is back as the first preseason game was played last Thursday. With football coming back, so does fantasy football. Like a lot of people (myself included), you’re scouring the internet for rankings. There’s plenty of rankings out there, but none of them tell you where to take a defense. I am going to present my strategy.
Football can also push you to do better in school. Like you are making bad grades in school you will not be able to play or might get kick off the team or get in trouble because the coaches are looking out for you. In football you have a second family because your team is like a family. You win together and you lose together.
My stomach tightened. I had never played free safety before. The ball was snapped, and I watched as the tailback widened out to receive the pitch. Never had I felt such an adrenaline rush.
Id have to say the number one reason I began football is because my whole family played it. It all started with my grandpa. He played right guard for the Miami Hurricanes back in the 50’s. He then went on to be on the Miami Hurricane hall of fame. I never got to know my grandpa because he died February 2nd, 2000 just before my birthday on the 16th. After his collegiate career he was drafted
Ever since I was 5 years old I've always had a passion and a love for the game of football. I've grown up playing, watching, and reading about football everyday, 14 years later, it is definitely still a very big part of my life. As a youngster, I've always had the dream of playing Football professionally, I couldn't imagine myself doing anything other than playing football for a living, I've always said, "The day I get paid to play football is the day I've reached my ultimate goal in life".
Football is the greatest past time entertainment in America, in my opinion. I have always enjoyed watching this great sport, but to actually be in the games takes me to an ultimate level of enjoyment. It may seem strange to most people, but being out in the middle of the field reminds me of being in a great war on the battlefield; where each army is placed in a strategic location to defend its common point. I have always enjoyed playing the sport, during my seventh grade, my ninth grade, and even now my senior year the sport has taken on a whole new meaning for me.
As the bells rang out Edgar gleefully said , “ Hurry up James we need to get there in time to be picked, or else we’re gonna be stuck with the nerds out in the field watching!”, as he ran out to the field toward the road where we would be playing tackle football.
I never expected my life to turn out this way!! 2020 Darren Clayton enters the NFL draft to contend against top players most teams wanted. I was surprised that I had made it that far.Now imam take you back to my childhood. I was only 10 years old in 2010 I wasn’t really a football lover, I was mostly a basketball fan. I mainly played basketball and watched it more than football. I never played football in my life the only sports I played was basketball and baseball but I never pursued it to the fullest it was just something I would do in the mean time to kill sometime in elementary school and middle school. In middle school I got curious about football so I joined the flag football team and played at an tournament against other people. At the tournament we played three teams, we only won
My entire life I have always lived, breathed, and played football. Football isn't something for everyone, however I love it. It's something you have to practice nonstop every day to get better. I started playing football when I was in the sixth grade playing flag football, and started getting serious about football in high school. Growing up I never had the love I do for playing like I do now, yet over the years I developed the passion to what to be able to do this as a career in life.
It all started when I was about three years old when my good friend Anthony Williams and I became friends when he ran his bike into my sand box. Football has been an event in my life since I was three years old and it still is today. “The key to life is not what life gives to you but what you take from life. It’s not how life treats you but how you treat life. You have a choice in life. You can either thrive or survive.”_ Coach London. Football has made me into the person I am today, hard working, and determined.
Dating back to my early childhood; football at the time was my only love. I breathed, slept and ate football. It started off as just a friendly hobby around my neighborhood up until my tenth-birthday when I joined a little league football team. Over the years I continued to play, it got even more exciting for me when my friends from the neighborhood start joining the team as well. Things suddenly changed for me moving forward into my high school career. Although this was once a fun stress reliever it was becoming the only thing that stressed me out.
