Growing up there have been major influences in my life. People whom I have looked up too and who have influenced me grately. Out of those people one stands out to me the most. Marissa is one of the most passionate, caring, and inspiring person I have ever met. While I know that you have met numerous extraordinary people she is by far on of the best.
Marissa grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan. From the youthful age of 6, she was destined to help people. When asked what she wanted to be when she was older her response never faulted with helping people. It would only be a feeble years later when she truely knew what profession she wanted. Social work with a minor in substance abuse counciling was how she would help. Starting her senior year of high school Marissa began to job shadow in her career field. Thoughout college her job shadowing turned into internships. That preparation helped her to determine that her main focus would be the children. The passion that she had in knowing that she wanted to help children has always pushed me to find my passion in life.

Starting high school can be a little scary, especially when you have no guidance from siblings, like me, being the first one from my family to have an education. But that did not stop me from succeeding, I?ve always been confident and determined. I?m an enthusiastic when it comes to trying new things. Who would have thought I was going to be a good athlete plus a book geek, when in my past years I was just a regular kid. I was pretty excited about joining a club that had a connection with high school, that way I didn?t have to start from zero, I always want to be a step ahead. Fortunately, in summer, a high school coach was recruiting freshmen for running either cross country or track, they both involve running, so I considered it like the same sport with different timing. And this is when it all started. Running
I believe you can achieve anything you want in life with hard work, dedication, and passion. There are many experiences I have gone through that have helped shaped who I am today. I may not have control over certain situations, but I have a choice on how it affects me.
Her journey began in her senior year of college, when her life inadvertently shifted. She left school to become a wife, mother and an overseer of her husband’s dental office. For years, all seemed well on the outside, but privately Carrie was enduring abuse from her husband. At the age of 36, now a mother of 3, she made the crucial decision to leave, never to turn back. Her courage to step out of an abusive relationship, and pursue a life of the unknown, proved to be a pivotal moment. In the beginning, she shared feelings of fear and adrift. However, through the process of reading an exponential amount of self- help books, she regained her strength. She fell in love with everything that she was learning and began to transform into a woman with purpose. This magnetically, attracted the attention of her peers, seeking insight to her transformation. For Carrie, this ignited the inspiration to help other woman, a process she refers to as the “Domino effect”. She realized that she could support and empower other women just like herself, and unbeknownst to her this was only the

Many people have left legacies from when they were alive. Some are good, and some are bad. Those people may not agree with what they have left behind, and some may be perfectly okay with theirs. For me, I would like to leave behind a legacy that shows my family that I was a good person. I would want them to know that I had good intentions for my life and that I wanted to do good for myself and others. In this essay, I will explain what I would like my legacy to be like.
She talked about how children came broken into her home, and it was her job to help repair their hearts. Her book details how she handled difficult situations, showed love to kids who felt unloved and demonstrated selflessness by always putting children’s needs before her own. I sat there amazed reading her book one night; I began to pray, “Create that kind of heart in me, God. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.” After finishing the book, I had never been surer of my purpose and what I am supposed to do in this life. I want to show children who are broken and feel unloved they’re special and tell them about a God who loves them more than they could ever imagine. I want to make it my goal that not one single child leaves my home without knowing hope for their
The lives I would touch for my legacy would be my family and friends because those are the people that care about me and what I do. That they would help me out with anything I need. My major accomplishment would be a pro soccer player and go to Rutgers College. The other accomplishment in my life would be to get very good grades in school to get a good education.
When I think of the word legacy I think of how I will be remember and what I will leave behind for generations to come. I think of people like Martin Luther King Jr and Gandhi, whose impact changes the lives of many and the world as it was known during that time. I don’t think that my impact will be received on such a big scale like Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, and many other but hopefully I will be able to touch the people who were close to me during my lifetime.
Think of what you would think of on your final day of life. Sitting in your hospital bed,
An important part of every humans life is having something they believe in. Having something to care about is essential for people to reach their full potential in life. People need a special person in their life, or a great job that sparks passion in them to bring them happiness. There are many of these types of passions in my life but to better understand who I am, there isn't just one, there are three people who have shaped the young adult I am today. My two little sisters and my little brother. However they aren't exactly normal siblings, they were given to us by the City of Cincinnati for temporary care, while their mothers tried to recover from heroin addiction and battled in court to explain why their child was hospitalized because of a lack of food.

I remember a past experience that has influenced me to how I am today. I used to be afraid of heights until I went on an airplane. It had been my first time to ride an airplane and be in the air. When I first stepped on the plane I was very shaky about going. When the plane began to take off from the airport I was very nervous. We were up in the sky and I wanted to be back on the ground in a few minutes. It took a few hours. When we landed in Georgia we got off the plane and got our items.
What kind of name is Princess Ja’Nai Farkhanda Ibinah “DVS” Abdul-Wajibul Lavender (pronounced Juh-Nā-Ya , Fuh- Con- Da, Devious, Wa- Gee- Boo)? It’s a unique name and it happens to be mine. It has been mispronounced, the butt of many jokes, even a bullying tool, but most importantly it is the perfect name for me, because its meaning is true to my life and personality.
