“Healthcare professional faces complex ethical dilemmas in the workplace.” (Murray, 2010). There is an expectation that a professional working in a healthcare field demonstrates the highest degree of moral character. A morally courteous person stands up for right things even if it means to do alone. The final goal of demonstrating moral character is to protect ethical value and put ethical principles into action. There are various moral characters which I would like to see in the employees. I would like to see a healthcare professional having characteristics such as professionalism, honesty, kindness and commitment (towards their patient). For a professional working in an acute care facility, demonstrating a high level of all the above four

Virginia did not complete the 11th grade. She mumbles when speaking and her speech is difficult to understand at times. When speaking to her, one often has to rephrase the question or revisit the question to get a more accurate response. Virginia enjoys
The purpose of my personal ethics code is to inspire success and promote prosperity. For me, this is very important because of all the hurdles I've had to overcome throughout my academic career. My idea for developing a personal code is to promote a successful lifestyle. However, it is not only limited to my future career, but also encourages success within personal relationships, as well as assigned tasks and duties that are expected of me. It is tailored in a way that allows me to think outside the box.
.My own personal code of ethics consists of important key factors to my patients satisfaction. The two below, to me, are very important factors. It is important to me to make sure that my patients are always in a safe and clean environment. It is important to be aware or hazards so you are not accused of neglect. It is also a must to treat all patients the way I would like to be treated in return. Their happiness is what keeps them a patient at the medical practice that I work at.
How I work is like… something that I can’t even explain because it travels through me and I blow myself away.

Throughout life, every individual has their own personal morals, beliefs, and values that helps influence and guide the way they choose to live their life and how they interrelate with others. I believe that as a nurse, the morals, beliefs and values that one upholds personally will impact the care provided to not only their patients but their loved ones as well. My personal values include; Altruism and compassion, autonomy, human dignity, integrity/trust and dependability among others. As we each rely on our own morality to guide our way, we as nurses also need to uphold the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics. During the course of this paper I will be discussing how my own personal morals,
My personal Code of Ethics includes Respect, Integrity, Fairness and Caring. Some situations in life may be subjective, but what matters is making sure the results are fair for all parties. Through the years I have found identifying and setting personal values to be increasingly difficult since the right decisions aren’t always appeasing to all that are involved. Every decision made or not made is definitive of myself, and in believing so removing the need to conform to standards imposed by society.
My view on how I determine what’s right or wrong is simply the emotional and physical damage a certain act causes to the person or loved ones. I base my daily actions of right or wrong on my spiritual belief, the laws in place, behaviors our society accepts and my own subconscious feeling of what I feel is right or wrong. I normally ask myself questions such as which option will do the most good or the least harm, would my actions treat people equally and respectfully, and would this option lead me to the person I want to be. Some of the qualities that resonate to me, and has been a part of me, in which I will call my “personal 10” are empathy, integrity, respect, kindness, honesty, fairness, humility, courage, balance and wisdom.
My personal code of ethics is respect the rights of patients, colleagues, and other health professionals, and shall safeguard patient confidences and privacy within the constraints of the law.
