I still remember that fateful day, the day I was Stolen. It started out as a normal day at school. I’ll take you through the whole story. There is one thing you should try to figure out, who kidnapped me. “Joey, Wait up!” I yelled out. Why was he walking so fast, and not responding? It’s almost like he’s ignoring me. I started to jog, but he was already gone. I turned the other way to walk home. It was a long walk, for I lived in the country part of town. I noticed leaves crunching behind me, and I turned around to only see a fist come at me, and everything went black. I woke up in pitch blackness. My head hurts a lot. I knew something was off, because I was laying down, and it was a very tight space.I took out my almost dead phone, and …show more content…
I go to the closet, and find a wire hanger. I manipulate it several different ways, until I have a knife like object. I check the dresser nothing but a few items of clothing. The last thing i check is the nightstand, and I find a key, and a glass figure of a bear. I try to pick the lock with the wire hanger, but find my efforts useless. A thought comes to my head. I tie the sheets to the dresser, and night stand and move them near the door. When I throw the lamp, and bear on the ground, the man will run in, and fall into the broken glass. I will then run out, and lock the door with the key. It’s a risky plan, but I have no other choice. I throw the lamp and bear on the ground, and hide next to the door. As expected, the man unlocks the door, and bursts into the room, he trips, and I run. I slam the door shut, and try the key, useless. I shove the wire hanger in the lock , and kick it sideways. Now the lock is jammed. He dropped his phone! I go to emergency call, and the dispatcher picks up saying, “911, what’s your emergency?” “I 've been kidnapped, and I don’t know where I am, but i think i’m near Charter High School I think. Please, send help!” “Ok, What 's your name?” “It’s Clair.” “Ok Clair, can you describe your surroundings?” “Um, in a house, very little furniture, two story, and it’s near Charter High School I think. “I’m going to ask to ask you to do something for me
One day I was on my way home from basketball. My dad had told me that my mom had taken my grandpa to the hospital. She had taken him because he was having bad stomach problems. No one really thought a thing big of it.
It was a Saturday morning and it was game day. The game didn’t start until 12:00 and we didn’t have to be there 10:45 A.M. Once all of us got there and we finally got into the gym to shoot around and warm up, Alicia and I were talking about who St. Marys had all beaten. From who they had beaten, they sounded pretty good. After a while of shooting we started to stretch. Alicia, Hannah, and Emily were near me so I asked them why the other team wasn’t here yet. Emily said “I don’t know they normally are already here”. By this time Taylor Swift’s song came on which is Emily’s favorite singer. The song was “22” and Emily started to sing “We will just keep dancing like were 22”. Once we were done stretching we started to shoot
A little over two years ago, I finally saved up enough money from working part-time to afford a new computer. Before that, I had the computer my parents got me for my 16th birthday, which was around 3 years old then. The computer they got me wasn’t the best, but of course it was better than nothing and got the job done. I’m definitely very appreciative of that. Now, the computer I got myself I didn’t personally build, but I used a website called CyberpowerPC to choose all of the hardware and pre-installed software myself. I was still fairly new to that sort of thing then, so I had to use Google a lot to research all of the different hardware options: what they meant, what the differences were, and so on. The parts I chose
I just want to start this off with saying I'm sorry for arguing and the attitude issues. Lastnight's not how I wanted to spend it. I didn't get a hug or a kiss, all I got was how did you do tonight as if money was the only thing you seemed to care about. Then you tell me to either get out of the car or go home and I said give me a minute because I was on my feet all night at work. And I didn't wanna, stand around the outside of the gas station. People always say never stop fighting for the person you want once you finally get them. And I feel like you don't want to fight for me because you have me now. You know you always tell me that you want the rayann that I was in st. Pete to come back it's hard for her to come back when the last couple of days/week we've done nothing but argue.
Malia gasped for breath as Dominic wrapped his arms around her shoulders. Her hands coming up to grip hold of his hands as if afraid they would leave her at any moment. And loosing him now meant loosing her ability to breath. He was like air, forcablly filling her lungs and pushing life back into her shaking body. It was his fault she was feeling this, but he was the reason she felt strong enough to face it all.
The officer had me answer way too many questions making that day far worse than it needed to be he made me give a description of the killer and an overall summary of what had happened.
I awoke dazed and confused by the events that had happened the night before. As I sit up I feel extremely light headed. I look around as my sight slowly returns. Everything is still kind of blurry but I can tell that I'm outside. I get up and slowly stumble to my left, I reach out to what turns out to be a tree and try to regain my balance. As I sit back down I try to remember the events of last night, all that I can remember is passing out here on the ground late last night. I think, right now it must have been about 10am, and I didn't have the slightest clue of where I was, I was still feeling a little faint.
''Wasn't that amazing or what?'' excitedly shouted Cisco as he entered the hall, closely followed by a very emotionally tired, but happy, Sara who was glad that they were able to get the job done.
My head was sore, my body was aching, and everything seemed hazy. I was in a room, a dark room, which had an unpleasant odor to it. I was tied up to a wooden chair. My hands were wrapped up, and my legs were pinned down to the the legs of the chair. I was struggling, trying to get loose, every muscle in my body was fighting against the pain. I held in my tears, hoping that I can get out of this diminutive, and enclosed 4 by 4 room. Many hours had passed by, and there was still no ray of hope in sight. Unexpectedly, a shadowy figure approached towards the room. The man was wearing black jeans, a black sweater, and a black hat, and carried a
What a wonderful week, and way to end a transfer and begin a new one. I first wanted to say how grateful I am for this wonderful opportunity to be a missionary. It's been almost a year since I left beauty of California behind. Yet, there is something beautiful about the desert here in Arizona that I have truly come to appreciate.
They ask me to write down my race, And I think and I think, I am so much more than that. I am the pounding rain in a thunderstorm The stunning sight of fireworks I can bring peace and joy Or fear and annoyance
While watching TV, I hear footsteps outside, a knock on the door, and the doorbell ring, then another knock. Naturally, I run upstairs and look out the window in order to see who is there. A truck with flashing yellow lights is parked in the road, and a stout man holding a flashlight is looking in the back of the truck. To be safe, I call my mom, and ask her if she is expecting someone. She replies with a curious no, and asks, “Why?” While I am in the midst of telling her the situation, the flashlight beams through my bedroom window, sending chills up my spine, and causing my heart to drop.
Through the sky-high french doors, a glass chandelier hangs down from the fourth floor, complementing the Italian marble tiles. Ace stands in the corner of the room waiting for the sunlight to leave the room. His broad figure is outlined in the darkness. His red hair is gelled back, with curls tangled stylishly on the nape of his neck. Ada kisses his cheek and whispers in his ear. They both turn and set their coral eyes on Jamie. They look as if they’re mirrored twins. Ada runs to the staircase, hands gripping the banister as her Jimmy Choos leave behind a muddy trail. “I’m changing, I’ll be back my
She obviously hates me, she has no other reason to do something like this to me. Why this quickly? Why couldn’t she let me know about this a month ago? Now I have to go somewhere that I don’t know anything about. I don’t know anyone there, including my own Nana! I haven’t seen her since I was six, and she doesn’t know anything about me. I opened my bedroom door to grab the suitcase, and there she was. My mother was standing there, staring at me with a blank stare waiting for me to open the door.
I was awaken by the noise of the annoying ice cream truck. I slowly roll over as my eyes scan the room looking for the time; 3 am. I heard the sound of the ice cream truck again. I quietly got up and walked over to the hallway. I thought I was just hallucinating because it was just my 11 year old daughter Lizzy slamming the window down. Then I watched as she skipped down the steps with a five dollar bill in her right hand and her long blonde hair bouncing off her shoulders with every step she took. Down the stairs she went outside looking back over her shoulder making sure I didn't see her. That's when it had hit me, I heard the Ice cream truck once again. I dashed back in my room knocking everything over that was in my way and threw clothes all over my floor looking for my shorts. I sprinted down the steps, but by the time I got outside, she disappeared There was no sign of her. My heart dropped deep into my chest as if I were on the first drop of a ginormous rollercoaster. It was just silence , Dead silence and pitch black darkness. Were all the bad things that happen in the movies happening to me? Am I the reason she's gone? I'm gonna find my Lizzy and I'm gonna get her back! I stumbled back inside. My vision became blurry, salty tears began staining my face, and a huge lump grew in my throat. I snatched the house phone off the hook and struggled to press the 9 on the phone with my fidgety fingers as I continued to press two ones.
