As I walk up to my door getting home from a long walk through the park, I hear the faint sound of my telephone ringing. I unlock my door and quickly rush in. I set down my bag and pick up the phone.
"Walt," my boss, Charles Mintz says, "I need you to to do a favor for me."
"Anything sir," I say with joy.
"I need you to make a brand new cartoon character," he said with such encouragement.
With that, he hung up without another word. So I had only a few days to make a new character for Universal Studios. Who knew that when I made this new character, it would lead to me make a world-famous phenomenon a year later.
The year was 1927, a fellow cartoonist, Ub Iwerks, and I had created a rabbit named Oswald, who happened to be very lucky. We named

"Yeah, way more famous than Oswald could ever be," I chuckled a little bit while opening the door.
When I walked inside, I realized that this was it,Disney Brothers Studio, the place where it all happened. The place where we made Mickey Mouse. Every family in America knew who Mickey was, and I thought that if people loved Mickey so much that they would want to buy some Mickey merchandise. I was going to put Mickey on everything. People would have Mickey shirts, Mickey stuffed animals, and maybe even Mickey toothpaste. Okay, I doubt the toothpaste, but people get the idea. I knew Mickey was going to go far in this world.
After Universal took Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and all of my employees, I didn't give up, I just kept going and eventually created Mickey Mouse. I was so crushed when they took him, I could not live with myself. Opening my own studio was the best thing I have ever done, I would have never created Mickey. Also with the help of Ub Iwerks, which I also worked with at the Universal studio. By the end of 1928 business was booming and so was Mickey. Almost everyone in every household knew who he was. Mickey Mouse would live
It was now 2 in the morning, and after many long hours we had come up with a great cartoon. We called it Mortimer.
The key ingredient that fueled the success of Walt Disney Company was its ability to create new, unique cartoon characters that had universal appeal. Over the years, Disney did a great job in bringing these characters to life, and kept introducing new characters that further solidified Disney as a company that valued creativity. At that time, there was no other company that had as many successful cartoon characters as them. The company applied its creative strategy beyond characters and ventured into new business areas, such as
"That was a wonderful story, you are an excellant story teller." Belle beamed at him.
It would become his greatest challenge and life’s work, teaching him lessons about success, achievement, creativity, innovation, adversity and much more. He created a place that would make other people’s dreams come true. By creating this place many people's dream did come true. Walt Disney was turned into a creative business tycoon who transformed the world through the use of his imagination and resolute determination to make his vision a reality. Disney once said, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” He changed the world by believing in himself and continued to work at what he wanted. Many people looked up to Walt Disney, and they still do
A creative person famously stated “It all started with a mouse.” You may be thinking that you know who this mouse is, but not too fast. Yes, it is Mickey Mouse, but who was the brilliant man that created this happy little creature?
This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized in four C’s. They are curiosity, confidence, courage, and constancy, and the greatest of these is confidence. When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way.” These are the words of Walt Disney, a man with an unlikely success story, which can be greatly attributed to his never-lacking confidence. CHILDHOODAfter being a part of the Red Cross overseas in 1918 at age 16, Disney returned home and began working in commercial art. He created a small company named “Laugh-O-Grams”. The people in Kansas City loved his short animations. However, his company soon fell under with debt and went bankrupt. That was not going to stop him. He started anew in Hollywood, of all places, where he and his brother worked on the “Alice Comedies”, which had by the way already failed him a couple times before. Walt’s confidence that these comedies would eventually succeed payed off, when a New York distributor named Margaret Winkler offered them a deal. Several years later, and after marrying one of his employees, Disney created “Steam boat Willie” which was an instant success. After this, the sky was the limit for Disney. He made his dream come true and created Disneyland, which opened in 1955. When going bankrupt in Kansas City, Disney easily could have given up with his dream and gotten some regular
During this time one of the greatest cartoon icons was created by Walt Disney after his distributor stole his first character and it led to the creation of the most recognizable cartoon character, Mickey Mouse. Before Walt Disney's creation of Mickey Mouse he went through some struggles. He did not always own his own business. He worked with a small group of men, who abandon him (Watts, 25).
Me and my mother absolutely hate most Aerosmith music but Disney decided to play some on TV that morning, it felt kind of strange that this would happen on my birthday of all days, but we continued over to one of the Disney parks. It was the Animal Kingdom we went there for a character breakfast but we decided not to stay at the Animal Kingdom for the day so we went to Hollywood Studios. It was a nice morning at Walt Disney World and my family were so excited to explore Hollywood Studios. Our family started to walk around in the park after having had issues at the fingerprint scanner found a interesting giant guitar and we walked to it. We saw that the ride was called the Rock N Roller Coaster and we decided to go on it, but my little brother got scared so dad
Disney is truly the happiest place on earth. Every kid wants to go,but does every kid get to go? I'm going and i can't fully wrap my head around the idea that on September 15th-I'll see Mickey Mouse and all the marvels of Disney!
“Hello?” I called, “Is anyone home?” but there was no answer. I walked in cautiously followed by

Disneyworld and Disneyland are some of the most “magical” places to be, at least that is what is said by many throughout the United States.
