W is for Wicked I love musicals, and I had only ever seen Limestone and Cornstalk perform their plays, which is completely different from seeing a musical done by people who act for a living. This past November, I got to go see Wicked with my sister in Wisconsin. I was supposed to go with my sister, Theresa, and my mom, but there were not enough seats in our budget to allow for my mom to go as well. I drove up to Wisconsin with my brother, Jimmy, and the co-founders of his game company, as they had a game convention in Madison they wanted to go to. Well, we got to my sister’s house on Friday, and the showing we were going to was the first Saturday performance. We got ready to go, by ready to go, I mean painting nails, trying on shoes, and doing make-up. …show more content…
We went to the most elegant restaurant in the whole world for lunch; Culver’s. It was probably one of the messiest ones I’d ever seen, and apparently EVERYONE in Wisconsin goes to Culver’s for lunch, because it was jam packed, shoulder to shoulder, and it was just a small one off the ainterstate. After finishing lunch, we continued on our trek. To be honest, most of the drive was pretty boring, but it was scary multiple times, which is more than a little strange. At one point, while my sister was driving, a few people on the interstate wouldn’t let her get in the lane she needed to be in to reach the exit, luckily we still managed to squeeze in, so we didn’t end up being late to the
Last summer me and my family went to valleyfair. We got up really early because we had to drive to shakopee. It was a long drive and i fell asleep in the car. I hate long cars rides because they are always so boring, anyways when we got there we had to go through security and then go and get our tickets and wristbands. When we got in there we went on some rides and got food. All i ate that day was panda express. And i went on the wild thing and steel venom.
On August 1st 2016 me, my godmother, Eli, and my godfather, and Andy went to Knott's soak city. And Knott's berry farm. It was so much fun.
We had been searching for something else to do while we were on our trip and we couldn't find anything.Since we didn't know what to do we went out to dinner in hope to find something to do later in the week while we were there.I do not particularly remember the name of the restaurant since it was chinese but it was absolutely amazing. We had to wait in line for a while since it was a very popular restaurant around that place. Once we got in we grabbed
I never predicted this beautiful trip ending up as a nightmare in my existence. I drove for approximately 40 minutes and my partner shared the driving for an additional 40 minutes. We were driving my friend mom’s
Answer: When I was 6 years old, I got to go to San Francisco with my mom, sister, and best friend to the Orpheum Theatre to see the Broadway musical Wicked. I really remember going to see this because when I saw
During the Memorial Day Weekend, my family decided to go on a church trip to the Niagara Falls. I kind of wanted to go, but my mom insisted that I should stay home with my grandparents to practice piano for my upcoming competition. In the end, she left the decision to me.
My sister invited me to her house in Sugar Grove, a small town right outside of Chicago. My two sisters, Lilly and Grace were coming with, to spend the weekend with my sister and her fiance, Mike. After packing everything we needed for the weekend, we drove 2 hours and 30 minutes there.
It is raining. Again. I twirl my umbrella between my thumb and forefinger, watching as
I never dreamed of being in a band, not in a million years. One day I was at the monthly Jam at Center Stage Vintage Guitars. I always had a great time jamming with the people there. And I always brought my banjo to the jams. It started out just like they usually do when all of a sudden this guitar player came up to me and said, “I got to talk to you.” I was confused and felt like a cat with no claws because I didn't know what he wanted. He looked funny because his extremely curly hair was as long as a redwood tree. He introduced himself and a bass player next to him. The guitarist was Greg Sanders and the bass player was Neill Jones. Neill looked as short as a middle-schooler, although he was twenty three.
It was the beginning of my senior trip to the Bahamas, I was 18 so that meant I could have some real fun since I was finally old enough (at least outside of the United States). I was with my sister, Ashley, who is 17 years older than me and her husband Kevin. We drove to Nashville, Tennessee the day before we were going to embark on the first time I had ever been out of the country. We made our way to the oh-so-famous Opry Mills Mall and it was definitely a sight to see. Now Ashley and Kevin are well traveled
Walking home from school one day, I looked at the ruins that lay around me: houses, offices, roads, all destroyed because of the war. I wondered why it started. The war had been going strong for three years, and didn’t look like it was going to stop anytime soon. Brushing away my thoughts, I noticed an old lighthouse beside the ocean. Jogging towards it, I wondered why I had never seen it before. It looked ransacked, with both doors kicked in and the windows at the top shattered. I began to get a bad feeling about going closer, but shrugged it off and started to look inside.
Knowing she was going to be near that week, i desperately told my sister i wanted to go and that she should go as well. After looking we decided to go to the one at Anaheim on a Friday. We did not get right away because we still were not sure if we were going. Then Thursday came along and we checked tickets for that day. We saw
My experience at west has been quite a ride for about three years. When I first came to West, it really was different for me because it was the very first three story school that I have ever. Not only was it the first three story I attended to, it also was the first three story school I have ever seen in real life. With that being said, a few other reasons why it has been different is because of mainly how things are played out here in the Midwest.
Last spring my cousins came skiing with us. They also came the spring before that and we had a bunch of fun. But what we did on this trip was the craziest thing I have ever done.
My lower back was hurting pretty bad every time I would bend over or put any strain on my back. It was going on for about a month. I brought it up to my mom. She thought it was possibly kidney stones. Apparently drinking some apple cider VINEGAR would break them up. So I did it. When it hit my tongue it instantly burned. Then it hit the back of my throat. I gagged and honestly thought I was going to puke. Somehow I didn’t but I thought I really would have. Anything I ate that day hurt because the vinegar did what felt like singe my throat and tongue. It was by far the worst thing I have ever tasted. We found out that it was just a strained muscle in my back not kidney stones.
