Personal Narrative : ' West Texas '

I leaned my head against the car window watching the leaves blowing around, just trying to distract myself from a slight feeling of emptiness inside of me. This feeling seemed all too familiar to me. My family and I had all of our possessions packed into boxes yet again. We were moving to a new state. At this point, up rooting our lives and starting over almost seemed more like a hobby than anything more significant. However, I have just now come to realize that what seemed like constant inconveniences in the past, have actually taught me how to be the best me with influences all around the country. Living in three different states and five homes may have been a challenge, but it provided me with memories that I wouldn’t trade for anything because those moments created the person I am today.

Growing up in the same city for just about your whole life gets you accustomed to the same routine everyday. You know where you're going, you see all too familiar faces, and life just seems so bland. That was my case. I've lived in San Antonio for all my seventeen years of life, and have always wanted a sense of venture. Living in Dallas Texas is not so bad. I lived in an apartment building that was not so big, but the worst part was that there were tons of roaches. So we decided to move to Frisco.Also my dad has a job there. As the last few days of school came we started packing. It was hard because my brother was giving a hard time to my Mom. On the last day of school we left to go home. We had a scheduled flight to Puerto Rico to visit some relatives. After we came back we went to Houston to visit my cousins. They stayed with us for a month in my house, then after days of packing they left and we started packing. We did a lot of shopping P.S I HATE SHOPPING oh and P.P.S. That day came sooner than expected. My student picked a oad from south texas to the Los Angeles area. He made an excellent choice except for one reason. That reason was that load couldnt deliver early, adn it gave us a week to go just 1400 miles. We had disacussed those thigs before, but he made a mistake and we dealt with it. How, well we stayed in south texas for three days, partying at night across the border in Mexico, and sleeping it off at the terminal each day. Then we left for California. This was his trip, and I was just a buddy riding with him. He called all the shots, you know, where and when to get fuel, meals, breaks, and all the rest. WHe said he was ready, but he failed. Do you remember when you were a kid, there was that one place that always seemed so amazing, but once you got there you were so disappointed? When you are a kid, a disappointment like that seems to be a big deal. Well when I moved to Texas, it was just that. The worst place I have ever tried living, was in Bethel, Texas. There are numerous reasons that make me say this including, the excessive oil drilling, how spread out each town is, and how god awfully ugly it was. I would never recommend going there. I moved there, and within a month, I came back home. Even if I think of it as a Vacation, it still was a horrible experience.

When I arrived in Dallas, I was legitimately surprised to see that people in Texas were normal. They were not all wearing cowboy hats and boots with pistols tucked into their belts. I was ten years old, and I had just become accustomed to life in Missouri, right after leaving to Texas. Previously, I had moved from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Missouri when my dad’s job relocated us. Then, my dad quit his job and decided to pursue his dreams of owning a cattle ranch because his job had asked he relocate us to White Plains, New York. Leaving the state of Texas for somewhere new and fresh has always been a dream of mine. This city, this state, has become so stagnated for me. The people, the air, the opportunities, all seem dried out. I have to leave this state and I desperately want to gain a college level of education. This is a thirst for knowledge has little to do with a future job or my future economic situation. Obviously if I saw into the future and learned that I was rich, I would have no complaints, but if I saw that I was rich and uneducated it would be so revolting. Undoubtedly, I have one of the most prestigious positions of public trust in the U.S. represent Texans in Hardin, Jasper, Newton, Polk, and Tyler counties. This people hold firm to their faith in God. They believe in hard work and fair play. They willingly give their daughters and sons in the defense of liberty. They are Southeast Texans and I am proud to to represent them in the Texas House of Representatives.

Since I am not a citizen of United States, I have never voted before, I am not registered to vote, I did not vote in the primaries in March. I do not plan to vote in the general election this November because I do not have the right to vote in U.S.; however, some of my friends plan to vote in the general election. People around me are somehow divided between the Democrat Hillary Clinton and the Republican Donald Trump. If I could vote I would vote for the Democrat Hillary Clinton because she supports gun control, she wants to fight against systemic racism in education & employment, she inspires American women to fight for their rights, and because she is really qualified, she has served as secretary of state, senator

The birds, squirrels, and fishes living in tranquility. The daylight there is an early riser, while the night feels like a mother rocking her baby; peaceful. Therefore, the nights are so still that only the beautiful harmony of the crickets could be heard. The green tree looks so alive, they were standing large and stiff. There was even the opportunity of exploring the mountain trails. It was amazing being able to experience something completely different, especially when it was just a few days from starting my junior year. The memories from that trip will be unforgettable.

I grew up in a city named Colorado City, TX – the city is located in Central West Texas. I had a really good friend, that I became best friends with, named Daniel. We went riding our bikes everywhere around this little town, scraping our knees on concrete and crashing our bikes on practically everything (since there was practically nothing to do in this town – this was before the 3M Palace Theatre was reopened).

In the story of Samson, his strength lies within his hair. That's sort of case for my story if you think pounding your fist on the floor in a fit of rage and spazzing your head to deal with pain “strength.” So my story begins in high school of junior year on Go Texan day of 2016. My school is a private school and it shouldn’t be shocking that my school has dress codes for uniforms and hair to keep the list short.
