Today is Valentine's Day and I have nothing to do. Today I went to my brothers basketball game. They won 38-30 against auburn-y. This was a elimination game. I can't believe those ballers pulled it offing fugu. I mean when I was in 6th grade we didn't even make playoffs. Still single as always but I hope that will change. I like Evelyn Kitchen but I don't know if she likes me. I wimped out to ask her to dance with me and another kid in my advisory likes her too. It's pretty obvious. I just don't know if she likes me. I told my mom and dad and they told me to ask her. The worst thing that can happen is she says no and I get embarrassed to death. The next dance there is in March I'm going to ask her. I should probably explain
A few days in the marina, savoring the last little bits of our time in Florida, ended abruptly with an early morning trip to the airport in the dark. With spring break coming up and missing grandbabies, not to mention kids, we planned to fly back up north for a visit. We had to wear long pants and carry coats because we knew it’d be cold in Maryland. Ohhh…the horror of it.
As an 8-year-old child, the worlds scary place. Everywhere you look there’s something terrifying. From people the size of giants, roaming the streets, with no care what so ever with their surroundings or just realizing that in a few years would come the most difficult and emotionally unstable time of my life. Sure, those things may be slightly exaggerated, but what I do know is the most horrendous experience I had in the land of joy that ultimately ruined my love Disney for many years.
Have you ever gone to a place to visit? Where have you been? What did you do there? I would like to go back to Florida, because last time I was there I was very little. My grandma and grandpa use to live there. In Florida there are lots of places to go and lots of things to do. My favorite things about Florida is fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, the different animals you can see, and the warm weather.
Everyone has a different perspective on what their special place would be some might be their back yard while for others it could be in a different city that they visit often or a vacation home. For me it would be in Miami,FL.I consider it to be my special place because of the food, music,South Beach, and family .Many people know of South beach due to a lot of movies being filmed there. While for others, such as myself ,were born and raised there. If someone ever gets the opportunity to visit they should take it.
So it goes kinda like this: The day before I left for Pensacola, I was told "Have an open mind, you don't know who you are going to meet down there", so I went in like I would any other social situation, and just try to keep to myself until I have felt out and become comfortable with the situation. The original plan was to not get close to anyone, especially since it was gonna be a week long thing then we would be done, and we'd all go home and eventually forget about each other, but things went differently. They started off the way I planned, then I got to know you, and I made the mistake of getting attached because quite frankly, you had topped out everyone I'd previously met and I tried to hold out hope that maybe something could work in
Growing up in Southern Florida is something most people don’t experience with a sun shining brightly every day and water canals everywhere I looked, with spacious land to play on in most places it was definitely a great time as a child. I remember going on field trips in my elementary school, to the great Everglades which was something so exciting. Also, remember every Sunday going to the beautiful springs with my family to enjoy the great fresh water coming from underground. Now 16 years have passed, and things don’t look the same anymore going back to the places I grew up in was so exciting to find out there is no more space anymore or land to play on all there is business buildings everywhere and went to the everglades to visit and show my adult friends how wonderful it is to see nature come alive but the experience was nothing like when I was a child the everglades looked destroyed with a bunch of “Welcome to the Everglades” shirt selling places surrounding it and more business building too, it was depressing to see were this beautiful ecosystem went. What I did realize was the
One sunny, hot afternoon at switchback mx in Orlando, Florida I was preparing get two rookie supercross riders here train. I was getting very nervous that adam cianciarulo, and ryan lojack would not be here on time to train. I stepped out of the van and smelled the 2-strokes, and heard the roaring bikes. Then finally Adam and Ryan finally showed up! Ricky Carmichael and Ryan Villopoto and I told them to go get ready, because we had a lot of work to do today. Ryan, and Adam went to work on the track battling it out, when I waved them in.
Growing up in a small town in central Alabama wasn't so good at all. It was a small town with nothing to do but get in trouble. Saying this if I could have changed anything, it would have been where I lived. If I got to choose I would have chose Bradenton Florida. There are many reasons why I would choose Bradenton. One of the main reason I would choose this location is because of the famous athletic high school of IMG academy. IMG is a high school that was created not too long ago basically for athletes to train harder and get prepared for a college athlete's life. IMG is just an athletes dream school. This is because IMG helps you for college both on and off the field. The main focus of IMG is to get you ready more in the classroom than
My best moment was when i went to the Florida Keys over Christmas break in 2015. It was a two week trip just on our way to the Keys. On our way we stopped at the Creation Museum down in Kentucky and we stayed at my grandpa’s house in Maranatha Village down in Sebring Florida. When we finally got down to the Keys i couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. The water was that beautiful blue color and there was nothing but colorful coral and crystal blue water everywhere. When we got to where we were staying it was packed. There were more campers than we could count. The campground was on it’s own little island on the highway. My dad used to work there while my grandpa sang for an audience in the outdoor bar by the pool and hot tub. When i went to
"Stop asking questions!" my mom had told my brothers for about the one hundredth time. We were in our family minivan on our way to Florida. My mom and step dad would not tell my younger brothers where they had planned for us to go. I could see Bailey and Lucas Jr.'s ( We call him LJ) frustration and boredom as we passed the "Leaving Louisiana" sign. Though I knew we were going to Florida, I didn't know exactly where or why. My mom, Tonia, sat in the passenger seat; the entire ride all I saw was the back of her reddish-brown hair. I could see Lucas', my step dad, light hazel eyes in the rearview mirror hanging in the middle of the roof. The two youngest, Bailey and LJ, sat in the middle seats, and Timothy, my other brother, and I sat in the
I grew up in Bountiful, Utah In a large community filled with amazing people. I had friends of all ages, in fact, one of my best friends was an elderly woman named Carol McKey. I used to visit her house, she would teach me how to sew and bake, and I would occasionally come over for Sunday dinner. She was an adopted grandmother to me, due to my grandparents living in Miami and Virginia. I had the best friends I could ever ask for in Utah.
"Yes we are there," replied mom. It was nearly 11pm when we finally reached the World quest resort at Orlando Florida. My dad found a parking spot when we entered the resort. Everybody got out of the seat, but when I tried to get out from the car seat I cried, "Mom, I don't think that I can get out of my seat."
It was April 15th 2015. I was finishing up five long, grueling years of military service. I had to make a big decision with my life. Where was I going to start my civilian life? So many choices, so little time to make a decision. The problem was, I wanted to be closer to my family in Jacksonville, but not too close. I wanted to be somewhere with warm, pleasant weather. Something that had all of these qualities that immediately came to mind was Miami.
I was left to plan my spring break 2017, which included 12 others. I searched for hours to find a perfect place to stay in Daytona Beach, and I eventually booked a place. After what seemed like the longest ride of my life, we arrived at the hotel, reservation confirmation in hand. We received our keys and went to the room. To our surprise, there was already a family settled in! We returned to the front desk to be told that the place was completely booked and that they "were sorry for the mix-up." After a couple of hours had gone by, we eventually settled for the same hotel, but we had to switch rooms three times during the week just to be able to stay. Although the plans that I had made did not go accordingly, I persevered and managed to work
