My purpose of pursuing medicine is to achieve my goal of becoming a doctor. I love seeing doctors in service from childhood when I used to go for checkups. The service attached with this profession fascinated me. Not only this, I am also surprised how human body operates; especially the Brain and I want to know about it as much as I can.
I believe that I have invaded the qualities of humility from my parents, and sense of professionalism and a great work ethic will be my strongest factors, as these have been my part from my developing years. Apart from this, passion towards medicine will make me consistent on my path. I am a single child to my parents; my father works as an engineer Puncom Punjab Communication Limited and my mother is post

I have chosen osteopathic medicine as my professional choice in becoming a physician, because I have a passion for the healthcare field and learning, I want to be able to help others and give back to the community and I believe that medicine is evolving towards an osteopathic approach which takes into account the body as a whole. Passion is the driver behind any good physician. I am always looking to learn and improve upon my performance in whatever I am doing. Whether it was undergraduate coursework, medical shadowing, EMT training, or community service I put forth my fullest effort into the task at hand. Every moment in medicine and life in general is a valuable learning experience. Osteopathic medicine will force me outside of my comfort zone and many mistakes will be made along the way, but I look forward to tackling the challenges ahead of me and in the end it will allow me to become the best physician possible.
Growing up I seen my mom, aunts, uncles and grandfather struggle with the death of my grandmother. Everyday there was a new struggle whether it was getting up to go to work or eat. My grandmother died of breast cancer at the age of fifty two, it devastated my family. The question asked “Is why do I want to go into the medical field?” I want to go into the medical field because I want to be able to make a difference in this world. I want to do research to cure chronic diseases, I want to be able to tell a family that everything will be alright, and I want to be able to save a family the devastation that my family felt.
Furthermore, being in an area of medicine I can always learn something new because there is always an on-going of unknown things that happen in the human body, also the science
I did not always want to be a doctor. My interest grew out of witnessing the suffering that health issues have caused to my loved ones, myself, and even complete strangers. When my mother was diagnosed with diabetes our family was disheartened but in the realisation of the long path that lay ahead in managing her lifelong condition I appreciated the hope that doctors gave us - that things could be better even if they were not perfect. I want to give people that hope, and when I discovered my love for science it was only natural that I felt medicine was the best-suited career for me.
I was born in a farming family in a small town in southern India. My father worked in the agricultural field for thirty years. He realized while he was working that his children should receive the best education as he had faced many problems due to his illiteracy. This motivated my father to give me the best education without which I couldn’t have come this far. When I finished tenth grade, I had to choose either Mathematics or Biology and I opted for Biology as I had an affinity for science since my childhood. I always stood in the top ten of my class. I pursued my medical education at the distinguished institution, Guntur Medical College. I commenced medical school with the aim of becoming an internist.
If you were to ask anyone in the medical field why they chose it, you would get the same answer from just about everyone. Their goals are all the same, because they all wanna help people and save lives. I have similar goals for myself. I believe everyone has the potential to make a difference, and I believe by becoming a doctor it would be my way to make a difference in the world. We are around the age when they start to ask us what we want to do with the rest of our lives, but I've known what I've wanted to be for a while now. I knew from the moment I was in the hospital with my grandfather right after he had open heart surgery that lt was the right career choice for me. I plan on becoming a

Being medical professionals, they imbibe qualities of excellence and compassion. They have gifted the teachings and principles of tolerance towards one and all, towards life and its setbacks, and, towards oneself. This is more valuable than the toys, clothes and books they purchased. Finally they inculcated the spirit and essence of living a life for the benefit of mankind. Eternally, they remain to be my parents, friends, philosophers and above all, mentors. My mother is an M.D. Gynaecologist. My father is an M.D. Paediatrician. They are like the perfect couple doctors. One delivers babies and one takes care of them in their age. My parents have given up many things in life for my sake for which I will respect them forever. Whatever spiritual values I have are all because of them. They wish to fulfil their dreams through my hands. Thus it becomes my duty towards them to do well in my academics and also do well in my
I feel that the world will always need people in the medical field. I want to discover cures, medicine, and ways to improve the quality of life. I want to be apart of a major breakthrough and reveal new things no one thought would be possible for a long time. I would love to see several changes in medicine and the field such as the prevention of diseases, making the public more aware of fatalities that can occur, and most of all to give people and animals a life that is enjoyable which people in the medical profession are entitled to do everything possible to make that
I’ve always had an interest in studying medicine as is gives a diverse opportunity for careers in the future. I’m considering working with medicine as it allows me to work and interact with other people as this is something I enjoy as this is an aspect and value I go by is helping people to achieve a greater/healthier population. I have a great deal of patience and an understanding towards vulnerable social groups, as empathy is a good quality to have to provide patient satisfaction as this comes naturally to me. The joy of helping people directly is another influence. I have excellent teamwork skills this is another skill needed for the medical field as you will need to be able to work with other doctors and nurses on a daily basis.
Medicine in my life has never been about me or myself! It started as an inspiration in earlier life while seeing my father. My father, a physician, who vowed his life to the selfless care for his patients. This inspiration turned into an enthusiasm while serving as a volunteer in blood donation camp during my high school, when I myself witnessed how saving a life induces a philosophy of “living a life with a purpose.” Therefore, in my life becoming a physician and practicing in healthcare system was never about meeting the professional goals; it was and it is about finding an opportunity to add a life-long sense of gratification to my life.
The main reason why I want to land a career in this field is because of helping people, and improving their well being. I have always liked helping people, and it upsets me how there are people out there suffering from diseases, and illnesses, and can't do anything about it, especially if it's incurable, like cancer. Landing a career in this field, and helping cure these people, and bringing them back to good health would absolutely be something that I am interested in, or would like to try. Another reason why becoming a medical scientist interests me is because I have always wanted to know what goes in my medicine, and how two tablespoons of it a day can heal, or cure someone. Knowing what goes in it, and what each of the ingredients do would for sure be interesting, and exciting to know. Finally, the last reason why I want to be a medical scientist is because one of my cousins actually works as a medical scientist, and from what she's told me, being a medical scientist seems pretty cool. Wouldn't it be exciting working in a lab and mixing up and testing different types of
Medicine how I see it is not just the study of the most developed and organized system in the universe - beside the universe itself - which is the human body, it is also a noble quest of dedication and commitment to improve the lives of others, and satisfy the thirst for knowledge we all have, and that’s why I have decided to dedicate myself to studying medicine and having a remarkable career in it.
Throughout my life, I have worked towards one goal which is to become a doctor. Medicine offers the opportunity for me to integrate different scopes of science while trying to improve human life. Medicine has intrigued me throughout all my life because it??s a never ending
