“Treat others how you want to be treated.” - Luke 6:31
There are many things that can be negotiated, but to me one thing that should always be consistent is good customer service. Quality customer care is what turns single-time buyers into long-term clients. I believe that investment in client service will always result in returns, especially in the hospitality industry. I dream of becoming a Hotel Manager and I believe a Master’s degree in International Hotel Management at BMIHMS under the financial assistance of Australia Award Scholarship/Endeavour Scholarship will bring me one step closer to my goal.

The internship program at BMIHMS is particularly attractive to me, because areas such as hospitality require real world experience to truly learn the intricacies and complications of the field. This is essential for me as it's nearly impossible to enter the hospitality industry in Bangladesh unless one has a related degree or work experience in the same
First, I am extremely interested in working this summer, especially with a well know multination corporation, ideally under the watch of an experienced mentor. I look forward to my mentor helping me further understand possible career paths and the day-to-day life of a business person. While I have thought a lot about possible career paths, my lack of individual experience makes it difficult to reach a conclusion that I can feel confident about. Working over the summer will allow me to start collecting information about the professional workplace
Why should I be hired- I think I should be hired as I have worked in many retros, you may remember me from one, Bubble Hotel, back in June/July somewhere in there as I was at my grandmothers house at the time.
There are several reasons as to why I settled on MBA - Finance as my concentration of choice. First and foremost, from quite an early age, I had a great liking for analytical subjects. Indeed, I found mathematics more interesting than science subjects. This is a passion that has continued to propagate in me and for this reason; I would say that my selection of the said concentration comes naturally. Next, my concentration of choice happens to be in line with my long-term career goals. As I have already indicated elsewhere in this text, I intend to become a finance director in a reputable organization. I view an MBA in Finance as a stepping stone towards this particular goal. It is important to note that competition for jobs in the
The goal of any hotel management training program is to increase the productivity of the employees and to educate and motivate managers. When the confidence of managers increases, their ability to implement and manage company strategy also increases. They also learn to mitigate internal conflict and train their subordinates to perform better. According to Peterson & Hicks, hotel management training is extremely important because of unavoidable changes that are taking place in the industry. To achieve continuous growth, organizations must reprogram themselves and take steps to retain their employees. This will improve their quality of service and give them an edge over their competitors. Some other benefits of hotel management training include:
I came across this internship while I was scrolling through my university’s career page and it immediately caught my eye. I had been looking to further my experience in editing and publishing and looking at this application seemed too good to be true. The M-School program is everything I was looking for in an internship because it values its interns unlike most internships. This drew me in right away and after I researched as much as I could about the program, I wanted in. I am currently in my second year of university at Trent University and I am studying English literature will study business in the next school year.
Background. My application paper addresses a relationship that I have with a colleague of mine who I met in the Fall of 2013. My colleague's name has been changed for privacy purposes. The first interaction with Stephen came when I was pledging a fraternity on campus. Stephen was a handsome guy, he spent a good amount of his time to maintain his physique and professional appearance.
I am writing in regards to the Masters of Management program at Colorado State University-Global Campus, in hopes to earn my degree and enhance my professional career as well as my personal goal to continue education past my Bachelors degree. I am interested in this program because it will allow me to complete my education online, which is extremely convenient for my full time work schedule. I have been working at US Bank for 6 years and have worked my way up through various positions to my current position as a Sales and Service Manager. I was able to obtain my Bachelors degree while working here and I want to continue my learning to open more doors for career opportunities as well as gaining new skills and knowledge to help me in day-to-day activities and scenarios in my current position. Management has been something I have always aspired to become involved in. I understand that management of any business place affects multiple people who are customers or employees; therefor I want to be most effective and successful in my management techniques.
During my first year, my improficiency in English, lack of preparation for college and misidentification in sexual orientation, made it difficult for me to adapt to college life. Gradually, the interweaved sense of pressure, disappointment, fear, helplessness and inferiority engulfed me, along with the disordered regimen, prolonged aimlessness, narrowed friendships, and depression.
I’m happy that I’ve decided to continue my education. Looking forward to exploring the world of finance. I’ve many dreams and goal in my life, one of them is working for Reserve Bank of India (India’s Central bank) but for that, there are so many other steps I need to take before achieving that goal. I need to work toward improving my portfolio and for that, I need to complete my education and find a perfect job. My expectation in next five years are that I will be learning about the corporate world and gain the more knowledge about financial products and services, I will get to know about the market environment.
I found the Business 101 class to be extremely informative. For me, the areas studied filled in several gaps. I learned in more detail about how businesses are formed, the U.S. economic system, the intricacies of the global market and marketing. I have run a business for multiple years, and although much of what we studied in class happens on a daily basis, there were definitely areas on which I needed to get a better handle on. Entrepreneurship and financial management are two areas that I will academically explore further, along with, professionally as further study in these two areas will bring me the added knowledge to run my business.

Being a Hotel General Manager would be my ideal job in the Lodging Industry. To get the that point of being a General Manager would take years of working in the hotel industry as well as having the proper education to preform the job. My plan of action would be to start out as a check-in agent or a front desk associate at a hotel. This would give me experience in working with guests and with numbers, knowledge every General Manager needs. Working at the front desk initially would give me a good idea what each department in the hotel does, and perhaps I would move on to another job in the hotel just to gain more experience. A good General Manager needs to know how everything in the hotel functions.
Hotel and lodging sector is one of the oldest parts that make up the hospitality industry. The origins of the industry can be traced to the earliest of times known to mankind. “The history of hotels is intimately connected to that of civilizations; facilities offering guests hospitality have been in evidence since early biblical times” (Levy-Bonvin, 2003, para.1). While the most ancient hotels did not have all the modern amenities that consumers have become accustomed to receiving when frequenting the various hotel brands and companies, the ancient hotels helped create the industry that is still growing and evolving today.
1.)I have been working since I was about 17, and as of now I have held multiple different positions, in various institutions. Each of these positions required a different set of skills and attributes, nevertheless they all required the same dedication and focus. I have always been one to show up and complete with my daily tasks, however there is a specific situation that I recall that required me to step up and do more than I was required to.
