Are pit bulls a vicious breed? It is said by many that pitfalls are killers, this stereotype has made a bad name for pit bulls. Not all pit bulls are dangerous. They are good dogs and should be more noticed for being good protectors, great dogs for kids, and for being wrongly accused for violence.

In many animal shelters in North America, any dog with a pit bull resemblance is automatically labelled as “unadoptable” with no fair evaluation. The death sentence is often the result. It’s no secret that pit bulls have developed a bad rep over the last few years, being conceived as untamable monsters that will tear any child to pieces if given the chance. However, pit bulls, like any other dog breed, have the potential to be gentle, loving family pets, but are unfairly discriminated against due to these negative stereotypes and distorted views. Also like any other dog breed, positive and knowledgeable ownership gives way to a well-behaved, happy pet.

It is just so disrespectful that people want to ban pit bulls because they can be vicious,at some point the have harmed people,but no they still can be pets. Have you ever heard of pet trainer that help you pet to behave better. Think about losing a man’s,or your best friend. How could people just be like that,”No I don’t want that dog because it bits,harms and maybe can kill people.”My dog bit,scratched me,and even peed on me,maybe you should just ban my dog. Plus maybe the person who gotten attacked before by a pit bull was doing something to it,or maybe it was on an accident.
