Would you care if two homosexuals were getting married? Why does it matter what others think about their love life? Who are we to be the judge of how they live their life? Did you know that same-sex marriage was allowed because the U.S. Supreme Court decided to go along the fourteenth amendment? I believe that the next amendment should about the marriage equality act. I have an opinion that a lot of Christian people wouldn’t have when coming upon this topic.
The definition of marriage is the state of being united as spouses in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law. “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way, the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.” - Romans 1:26-27. In the Bible, people are not condemned for being attracted to people of the same sex but were condemned if they had sexual intercourse with a person of the same sex. The Bible teachings honestly believed that the homosexual feelings would pass over time. The Bible does not prohibit same-sex marriage because there was no type of relationships that happened like that before.
