Obstacles change our way of thought and affect our emotions. A person’s values change as well as their character and they develop an understanding on their situation. Through the hardships of any situation, there is some way or another a solution only in the presence of desire.
Obstacles. Everyone has been forced to overcome them at some point in their life. These obstacles have shaped everyone and helped them become the person they are today. Challenges are a part of life and everyone will face them at some point in their life, but it is how people handle it that determines their future. This idea can be seen in many pieces of text including the following poems. “Invictus” by William Ernest Henley and “The Rose That Grew From Concrete” by Tupac both convey the idea that obstacles are important in everyone’s life and help shape everyone as a person on the way to their dream.
Everyone has obstacles in life, but find different ways of overcoming the adversity. When you overcome obstacles, you either have a negative or positive attitude. But in the end, you usually end up happy with your outcome. People overcome challenges by not giving up, having a good attitude, and being confident. First, not giving up helps people get over challenges because when you give up, you're throwing away your idea and thinking that it may not change the world or it won't have an effect on anyone.
Obstacles are unavoidable parts of our lives. Obstacles constantly come in the way and slow us down. However, these obstacles should not be viewed as being harmful. They are essential factors in order for one to succeed. They can change the course of one’s life, and encourage one to work harder. Therefore, obstacles can be beneficial.
In my lifetime I haven’t really had big obstacles that I have had to deal with, but encountered few minor problems that I’ve tried to fix. For example, I have had trouble with my grades this year and was terrified that I wasn’t going to pass any of my classes. I had barely slid by with the grades that I had gotten first semester. I did not realize that final exams were put to your semester grade and was worried that would have major effect on my grades. On top of that I was stressed that my first two quarters were combined.
In the article “Navigating Turbulent Waters” by Jimmy Liao the author talks about his belief that life’s obstacles do not need to be a hindrance. The author believes that changing the perspective of perceived difficulties can have a positive effect on the outcome. The author states “It’s the way I choose to define the events in my life – by my response to them” (Liao). The way a person looks at a difficult situation can help them persevere through it. The author goes on to talk about his belief that by not fighting the challenges in life the challenges can lead to success.
In life there will be a lot of obstacles. Some obstacles just come out of nowhere, and some you may bring upon yourself. But without struggle you will not learn how to take care of yourself. Life is not always fare, you have to take the good with the bad. Be strong and keep moving. You will get there eventually if you stay focused.
Life is like an obstacle course, you run into multiple obstacles on the way to the finish line, and there's no telling how many hindrances you may encounter. Very few people can go their whole life without obstacles along the way, others can’t seem to get away from them, but with every obstacle comes a beneficial or deleterious concomitant.
Everyone experiences obstacles throughout their lives. It is important to overcome these obstacles and not let them get in the way of our future. An obstacle can be anything: A lack of food or money, an addiction or even just someone telling you you’re not good enough. Often when people experience obstacles in their lives they need other people to help them overcome their obstacles. Family, friends and mentors are some of the best people to ask for help with overcoming obstacles.
Everyone has different aspects of life that come with multiple obstacles. As many think they aren’t able to overcome and moving fourth, believing they will fall apart and behind everyone else. Most of mankind has experience some type of obstacles and we all have a wide arrangement on how to cope and overcome. The truth is, we only see challenges and obstacles when we take our eyes off the goal. Every goal has a challenges but once we overcome the world becomes bigger.
Our ability to overcome obstacles that arise in our lives is paramount to our survival within our existence while here on earth. The article “Where There is a Will, There is a Way” by Anne Harrington that we read this week gives a lot of good information to the reader but also the reader will notice that many of these elements are automatically incorporated when a person is in the process of overcoming an obstacle.
Of course, obstacles slow down one’s progress in achieving a goal, however eventually those obstacles will become minor because you will have learned through trial and error how to overcome and be able to move past that obstacle in order to get closer to
Money can't buy happiness...this quote does not make a sense for me! Shopping makes me happy, travelling makes me happy; food makes me happy, a new book makes me happy and how is that possible without money? Offering a chocolate to a kid is like gifting a smile that we get in return too, so does the smile come without money? But how to make enough money without hurting the inner self or without being victimized by today's system? Tough but yes, it is possible! What we have to do is to follow our heart. Following a profession fueled by passion and not by social dogma, is the simple answer. There are a lot of examples around us. I want to pick some of my favorites.
