Being a Noble Lover Will Bring You Closer to Transcendence

Rhetoric is the use of persuasive language in communication, especially in speeches and conversations. It involves the use of a choice of words that are highly persuasive with an intention of changing the thoughts of another party. Ethics is the tendency to be motivated to do either right or wrong; it includes making moral decisions to either do the right thing or the wrong one. In rhetoric, we can decide to do the right thing by informing the audience things that are true without the intention of misleading them or one can decide to do the contrary by giving them misleading information based on a personal motive. Various theorists have come up with varying ideas regarding the topic of rhetoric; they raise differing arguments. Some of these rhetorics include; Plato, Weaver, Brockriede, Burke and Bakhtin. My aim is to address the issue of ethics in rhetoric based on views of Plato, Weaver, and Burke.
Over the summer, my friends and I were out for a weekend with the intention of having fun and relaxing after a grueling semester of continuous studies. We planned on participating in sporting activities and enjoy the scenery on campus. On the second night of our activities we decided to eat out at a café hotel of our liking, we inquired on most of the hotels that were close and found that they were fully occupied and too noisy for our taste.
