What is globalization? Globalization is the process in which people interact with one another such as with other countries or societies. Globalization has been apart of the world since the first civilizations began to emerge many years ago. Many of the first civilizations consisted of hunters and gatherers in which they only focused on their ability to survive. As a result of this, they had little contact with the outside world, for they weren’t as intelligent or capable enough of exploring different societies. Throughout the decades, civilizations began to develop into becoming more resourceful and knowledgeable, because of how they gathered new technology and ideas from other different societies. Due to this, the civilizations’ chances of survival had increased because of the strong communication they had with each other. These strong and significant civilizations began to interact with one another through trade routes, by communicating, and through writing. The reason for this is because some civilizations lacked agriculture, resources, and religion/ideas. Pastoral societies were known for their lack of agriculture, for they could not grow crops because of where they were located. Climate and weather was either not suitable for the production of crops or there was no available tools to grow and harvest crops. Some societies struggled on finding the right techniques into cutting crops. This not only affected their economy, but their chance of survival. Food supply was
