UoPeople Proctored Exams
The definition of a proctor is “a supervisor especially of an examination or dormitory in a school” The Free Dictionary. To me, proctoring means that an individual has been asked to watch over a student or students while they take a test or take a final exam. A proctor is a responsible, reliable person who has been designated to watch students and be honest and not help them cheat. “University of the People students are required to successfully complete the required number of proctored exams prior to graduation according to their degree program. In order to register a proctor of you choice with the university you have to log into the Student Portal and add a proctor for the class that requires proctored exams. If a student is unable to find a proctor, UoPeople offer a free service for an online proctor. If a student needs this type of assistance, they will need to sign up at ProctorU website and create an account. If a student is able to find a proctor that meets all of the requirements, the proctor will receive a code prior to the exam which they will need to enter into Virtual Learning Environment prior to when the student is scheduled to take the exam. Proctoring is the use of someone to oversee your exam taking. UoPeople requires proctored exams in order to maintain high standards in their educational pursuits. They also have an interest in being accredited and therefore probably have a stipulation to have proctored exams. There are probably other reasons for proctored exams, such as to have integrity in the exam system. The reason only certain courses are proctored as they are deemed to be necessary knowledge when one says that they have a Bachelor in that area.
Uopeople requires a proctored exams because it is an online university . and the proctored exams are mandatory in order to award a degree or diploma.

Proctor was honest because when he was asked to sign the paper at the end of the play he did but the they told him they would hang it up and he told them no because it was his name and he didn’t get another. He was honest about his opinion. Because he did that, he got hanged and he died. In act 4 he died because he confessed his sins. That shows he was a real honest man because he knew he was going to die and if he wasn’t honest he wouldn’t have done it.

Proctors, most often authoritative figures such as elected officials, teachers, high school principles, guidance councilors, librarians, or even religious figures, oversee that academic integrity is being practiced while taken. The proctor will confirm the appropriate person is taking the exam and that all rules for the exam are followed.
