Early childhood education programs are formed by administrators coming together to form curriculums for teachers in the program to have as a guide to teach young children. For an example, each county has a board of education for the school system with administrators who form a curriculum for teachers to teach by; and administrators leads the teachers to make sure the teachers are teaching children based on the curriculum formed by the board of education. The children play at the areas until it is time to go outside at 10:00am. The children do outside activities from 10:00am until 10:30am. I bring the children inside at 10:30am, so that I can get the children washed up for lunch. As we sit and wait for lunch to be served at 11:15am I read to the children. After the children are finish eating lunch we do a potty break and diaper changes so children will be ready to go down for nap at 12 noon until 2:00pm. All children are required to stay on his or her sleeping mats between nap times whether the child is asleep or not. The reason for this is the children awake have to be considerate of the children who are getting a nap. After the children have snack time at 2:00pm, the children have potty break. From 3:00pm until 3:30pm the children play outside. Once the children come back inside it is time for potty break again. At 4:00pm we do puzzles and strings until 4:30pm. The children combine and go to center areas because parents begin pick up around this time. Even though my childcare is formed around the daily schedule, the two years olds participate in hands on activities while learning how to solve problem using his/her own creativity with any help.

For this program outcome I chose my curriculum analysis paper from CUR 512, Curriculum Analysis and Planning. In this course we defined curriculum, the aspects that are considered when writing curriculum, the theoretical perspectives found within curriculum, and the goals of the curriculum. By writing this paper, I was able to focus in on a unit that I teach in third grade social studies to get a full picture of the curriculum. I was also able to see the complex issues surrounding the curriculum that I never previously noticed.
There are many different curriculums that are used in early childhood classrooms. Two curriculums that are used are High Scope and Reggio Emilia. Both of these curriculums have unique aspects that make up their curriculums. In addition, High Scope and Reggio Emilia have similarities and differences.

My observation was done at my daughter’s home daycare in Mashpee. The physical aspects include, a 1.1-million-dollar home with blue walls in the living room, tons of windows, between 8-9 windows. There is a playroom on the second floor above the 3 car garage and it is huge! They spend a lot of time up there as the kids love playing. There are 2 pack-n-plays in the play room for nap time, and another pack n play in an extra bedroom. There are mats that are set up in the play room also for the older children to take naps in. The naps happen from 1-2:30 and all the kids go to sleep when they are told. The living room and play-room are all loaded with a ton of toys. Jumpers, chairs, and lots of different age variety play toys. There are 6 children with 1 teacher, and on occasion has an assistant who helps out. I go in and help out also because I love being around children so if I have the free time, I will be there to help, and my daughter loves being there so it’s a win for both of us.

As the director/board member the organization's mission statement is extremely important, not only does it describe what we stand for, but also it can and will be used to promote us in the community and it will also be used as a teaching tool for our parents, teachers, and students.
Students explore the idea that anyone can publish on the Internet, so not all sites are equally trustworthy. They need to carefully evaluate the sites they use for research, and then decide which ones they can trust.
It is detrimental to the learning process because the children’s’ care routines have to be consistent. Also, the children need transition time to prepare for eating and outdoor times. Likewise, schedules provide times to meet children’s needs for play. Learning centers and active play are important for the children to learn to communicate with others and stimulate their interest. Teachers must have allotted time in the schedule for transitional times to run smoothly by singing, movement activities, or playing games to keep children on
There are five different programs in a child care setting: Infant, Toddlers, Preschool, Head start, and School age. Each program is set up to meet the developmental needs of the children with that age group. The introduction of each program is based on Brightside academy

To make curriculum DAP for infant and toddlers, it must be based on sound and relevant knowledge such as infant/ toddler development and research; so that it guides early care professional practices in providing purposeful and responsive learning opportunities for each child through daily routines and experiences (Blackboard, 2013).”
As the new Director of Assessment I have been given the job of developing a program assessment plan for the Bachelor of Science in accounting program. The first step is to take a look at the mission statement of the university. The mission statement is as follows: “X State University is dedicated to educational excellence. Within a supportive learning environment, faculty and staff are committed to preparing students to be productive citizens by helping them develop academic and professional proficiencies; to think critically; to communicate effectively; and to seek and evaluate information.” After reviewing the mission statement, it appears the university’s main goal is for students to achieve educational excellence. The university states that students will obtain educational excellence by becoming critical thinkers, effective communicators, proficiency in an academic and professional setting, and be able to seek and evaluate information. Overall, the mission of the university is straight and to the point. The university wants their students to be successful academically, but also sees the importance of success after college. As the mission mentions, the university wants their students, in general, to become productive citizens.
The major thing that can be learned from the Envision curriculum is how well it is organized. The Envision curriculum is missing several standards. but it still covers most of the standards found in the Common Core and Alaska guidelines. The curriculum provides several worksheets and activities that can be differentiated for individual students. The curriculum is also outlined in way in which teachers can plan for their lessons in a weekly and monthly basis. As I was compiling the curriculum for each day, it came apparent that this curriculum was designed for the busy teacher. The curriculum provides, worksheets, games, tests, reviews, and activities for each math topic. Envision has supply most of the materials you would need to teach each
Many students with LD experience trouble with reading abilities that are significantly below grade level. Consequently, the high school text book in history and other social studies classes will represent a problem. If students have problems with interpreting what is seen, they may have difficulties with timelines, graphs, maps, charts and other visual display that frequently used to explain information in social studies. Steele (2007) demonstrated that modification can be implemented to help students with learning difficulties succeed in social studies. Textbooks are usually hard for students with learning difficulties, it is better to utilize supplementary reading material, for example, historical fiction, easier textbook and resources from the internet. For instance, websites that have many timelines and clear description of historical events, newspapers can contain information that related to social studies topics to students’ lives and communities, establish reading abilities, boost critical thinking skills and integrate concepts across social studies topics.
