On Wednesday, August 19, 2015, Little Rock Police Officers responded to 11511 Legion Hut Road in reference to a call of a shooting that occurred at the residence. Upon arrival, officers observed an unresponsive black male who was lying on the front lawn of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. MEMS responded to the scene and advised that the victim who was later identified as Samuel Robinson, was deceased. Officers made contact with Mr. Robinson's wife, Felecia Shirley who stated that before the shooting she was inside of the residence with her husband and the power to the residence went out. Ms. Shirley stated that Mr. Robinson went outside and she could hear him turn the power on to the residence with the breaker

Upon arrival Officer Prugel and I Officer Butram spoke with Daniel Wolfe, Bud Wolfe, and Charmin Wolfe. Charmin and Bud stated they were having a problem with their son Daniel. Bud stated Daniel was arguing with his mother about her not giving him money to go get food.

I responded to 410 South Brundidge Street in reference to a suspicious circumstance call. Upon arrival, I spoke with Michael Peacock. Peacock advised that he heard a loud "boom" and someone going through the residence. Peacock stated that he just thought it was one of his roommates. Peacock stated that someone started kicking his room door and he grabbed his knife and ran to the bathroom. While in the bathroom, Peacock called 9-1-1 and locked the door. Peacock couldn’t advise on anything missing at this time. There was a busted out window in the back of the unit. Photos were taken on my body cam.

The house on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros is really a coming of age novel of a Mexican American female developing in a working class Chicago neighborhood. The writer is similar to the main character Esperanza in a number of ways. It being that Cisneros was in addition a Mexican American female growing up in a Chicago working class community. While Esperanza is ashamed of becoming a Mexican American around white Americans, Cisneros is proud to be considered a Mexican American female. But she endeavors to defy the roles and limitations of this culture. In the novel, Cisneros portrays the problems that Latino females face in a culture which respect them as lower class people. A culture which is stressed by males, along with a general public which esteems females for whatever they resemble, moreover not for what's on the inside.

I have been able to inspect 7 units at Greenbrier Condos so far. Every unit I inspected did not have the fresh air intake vent on the hot water heaters.
