Creating a technological angel on your right shoulder without building a vulnerable devil on your left ( Mangu-Ward). An argument arose between the two debates about whether technology can replace human intelligence to cut driving accidents, which itself seems as distractions responsible for them. The idea about technology responsible for distracted driving remains as a topic of debate between people from different viewpoints. Access to technology in cars offers its benefits, instances where people misuse this pleasure and end up harming themselves or others. People who use technology in their cars but utilize it under control, better off than people addicted to technology and get distracted. Mangu-Ward, one of the debaters, gave us an example of how people always click “No” on the “Are you 18?” queries. Which alludes the point that we expect people to answer “I am not the driver”, while driving just to access certain applications. Instead of holding the company responsible, people must look at the users and their responsibility. Jason Mars, a professor of computer science at University of Michigan and chief executive of Clinc, illustrates the idea that technology cannot always account or responsible for accidents. He gives us an example about a driver slamming his car into someone because he took his hands off the steering wheel to unwrap a taco, in which case we cannot possibly sue the restaurant. That being said, companies have a social responsibility to an extent to keep in mind the hazards that arise from the misuse of their products, for which they take sensible precautions
