I believe that this jumper would be very symbolic for the four aboriginal players on hawthorn list at the time. As each of their lives and journey’s to the AFL are depicted differently through the four tattoo circles that are linked by travel lines, showing that their lives are all connected through their jobs, heritage, race and their friendship bonds. The tattoo circles all have different symbols representing how their aboriginal groups had different beliefs and cultures when they grew up. This jumper in the end depicts the stories of hawthorn’s four aboriginal players and their roads to playing AFL. This uniform was created by Patrick Mills mother Yvonne, she has depicted the Indigenous flag into this uniform through making the three main
For my whole life, I have grown up watching and playing Australian Rules football, so I knew immediately that I wanted to research a particular aspect of the game. I wanted to look at the importance of skills in the AFL (Australian Rules Football) and the influence of coaches in developing these skills to improve a player’s game. These ideas came together to produce 5my research question which is “To what extent can a coach have an impact on an AFL team?” I created many sub-questions in order to break this question down into different parts. To achieve my overall aim, I needed to examine the qualities, which a coach possessed, in order to get the best out of his AFL team. I used interviews with past and present AFL players and
The justice system is just but the procedures within are somewhat flawed. Human nature is to have greed and power, that's what crumbles the system. People use the system for what it isn't intended for and get away with it whether it's good or bad. Such as the Tarina Garnet case. Trina Garnett, was a mentally disabled teenage girl who was charged with murder, after setting a fire that killed two people and was sentenced to life in prison.
NASCAR should create a new racing series while creating a linkage of suppliers, vendors, buyer, and customers through informational, technological, social and structural linkages (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). Intensive distribution should be utilized to offer as many sales opportunities as possible and gain exposure (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). The new series should generate interest in new and existing fans while simultaneously converting other sports fans to watch and attend NASCAR events through the use of social media, advertisements, sponsorships, and endorsements.

Excitement is in the air when draft day nears. Experts analyze the top prospects, predicting who will be the first-overall pick. They create mock drafts, taking a stab at which teams will take which players. Fans hand out their opinions, stating that “so and so” would help their team the most. There’s no denying the thrill that the draft brings to teams, players and fans alike. Suspense builds as teams are on the clock, and fans hold their breath when the commissioner walks to the mic with a team’s selection. Nevertheless, we should get rid of the draft process altogether and instate a new way of doing things, starting with the NFL.
The list would be too long for this format. The US Supreme Court has declared a total of 1,315 laws (as of 2002, the most recent year for which statistics are available; the database may be updated in 2012) unconstitutional using the process of judicial review.
“If the criminal justice system were a parent, we'd call it abusive and neglectful” (Weissmueller). The US Criminal Justice system isn’t perfect, as any justice system, but it is far from perfect. If you commit a crime, you get a punishment, simple. But the United States justice system doesn’t treat it as such. Committing crimes takes away your rights, and you’d be in jail for a long time for a minor offense. There too many people in jail, and those people are treated unfairly. The United States Criminal Justice System Isn’t doing justice, it’s lack of consistency and structure is costing Americans millions of dollars, and wasting lives.
Reading Analysis #1 At the time the American Constitution was created, the only people with any power were rich, educated, white men. Because they had so much control, they were able to build the Constitution in their image. They assembled a set of rules and values that was meant to give rise to a strong and equal government, when in reality it gave elites such as themselves even more power. The American Constitution is the base of our country and because of this we look past its faults.
The dark shapes also look like leaves, which could represent the end of season and the coming of autumn, which is supported by the deep, vibrant colours in the painting. The colours also represent her region and place in Australia. The many different varieties of the same shapes could symbolise diversity within their own tribe, as well as the different shapes and movements of the land. The purpose of this artwork is to educate and pass on a particular story to younger generations.
Today our criminal justice system has a large number of alternatives when managing the individuals who are indicted on offenses; fines, probation, group administration, transient sentences in prison or more sentences in an assortment of diverse level jails and a definitive discipline is still passing. Our objectives are clear and direct, stop the conduct, make compensation, educate new abilities and for some restore through treatment, medication and/or alcohol and drug counseling. Shockingly, there are those that are esteemed unredeemable and unfit to ever come back to society and they are either bound in jail until their common passing or sentenced to bite the dust by the request of the state or government. Barring a capital punishment, being
The kite is surrounded with green and is meant to represent the growth of Amir and Hassan’s relationship during their childhood. They grew to be very close friends before things fell apart, so my group decided this fit well with displaying that their friendship was shared; in the sense they weren’t truly treated equally in some aspects, but still acknowledged as friends for the most part. The remaining colors are meant to distinguish the differences in their characters that inevitably contributed towards the fall of their relationship. The clean blue portion is placed in Hassan's half, and represents his bright enthusiasm and strong spirit, even when living in society against him. In contrast, the torn grey portion is placed on Amir’s side and represents his weak spirit and internal struggle for establishing an identity that his father would approve. These characteristics go hand in hand in destructing their relationship because Hassan’s kind nature helped fuel Amir to become more jealous of Hassan, causing Amir to disassociate himself from him because Hassan is everything Amir could not

Labor unions have been very controversial in the U.S. for many years and are viewed as good, bad, and ugly depending upon who you’re conversing with. A labor union, is an organized association of workers, often in a trade or profession, formed to protect and further their rights and interests. Unions will usually focus their efforts around collective bargaining over wages, benefits, and working conditions, and/or on representing their members in disputes with management over violations of contracts. Others say unions stir up racial problems, cause social disruptions, upsurge in cost-push inflation, and union corruption all as evidence to why unions are not beneficial for the U.S. labor force and shouldn’t exist. It is intuitive that employers and employees are both energetically out to benefit the most from the other, employers want to payout less wages and benefits and employees want higher wages and more benefits. Who decides, and how do they decide on what is fair in respect to all parties involved?
The New Jersey Gubernatorial election is impending and citizens will be able to select the candidate that they think will best serve their needs. New Jersey’s Constitution includes that these general elections shall be held annually on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November also, the time of holding such elections may be altered by law. Currently there are two candidates, Kim Guadagno who is on the Republican side and Phil Murphy who stands on the Democratic side. Both candidates have contradictory perspectives on topics that are spoken about during the debates. I believe Phil Murphy is the best candidate due to his promising ideas on controversial issues that are seen in New Jersey. Considering that there are more democrats
Justice Antonin Gregory Scalia’s death on 13 February 2016 has caused yet another point of contention between Republicans and Democrats. This contention is based on the Supreme Courts current partisan split being 4-4. Whoever nominates and receives a confirmation of the needed Supreme Court Justice will effectively provide their party Supreme Court rulings in favor with their party’s political lines. Within hours of Justice Scalia’s death being reported President Obama made an official comment on the passing of the Justice. During the official comment President Obama stated that he would fulfill his Constitutional responsibility by nominating a Supreme Court Justice successor.
