After reviewing this article, I have determined that the dimensions of health involved with this issue are physical, environmental, and intellectual. For starters, this issue affects a person's physical health because it causes the body to deteriorate until eventually the person dies. Those who become addicted fail to take proper care of their body with healthy products but rather ingest harmful ones. Another dimension involved is environmental because depending where a person lives will depend how accessible these painkillers are. In an area where a doctor over prescribes painkillers, or people illegally sell painkillers, there should be a higher addiction rate because painkillers are easier to obtain. The final dimension involved
William Beveridge was a man whom was asked by government to write a report on the best and most effective ways to help those on low incomes. This was after the Second World War when people felt they needed rewarding, which the government responded to by promising to create a more equal society. In Beveridge’s report in December 1942, he proposed that all people of a working age should contribute, which would benefit people who were sick, unemployed, retired, or widowed.
“Tuberculosis (TB), a multisystem disease with myriad presentations and manifestations, is the most common cause of infectious disease–related mortality worldwide. Although TB rates are decreasing in the United States, the disease is becoming more common in many parts of the world. In addition, the prevalence of drug-resistant TB is increasing worldwide. TB is caused by M tuberculosis, a slow-growing obligate aerobe and a facultative intracellular parasite. The organism grows in parallel groups called cords (as seen in the image below). It retains many

The health promotion initiative is science and system design to improve and promote health in a specific community. I have a very strong experience in the Bronx where I have spent most of my time and raise my kids and a careful study of the inhabitants who are serious to make earns meet are lucking the time to take care of their personal life. Taking my formal neighborhood (white plain road) for example is an area being underestimated by so many people because of selling of weed, drugs, prostitution, shoplifting etc. But for one to live in that area, you need to have either a good job or do double in other to meet your needs. As a result of that, the inhabitants do not have time for themselves, an example is to eat well, exercise visits their

Most people who attend Cerritos College may be unfamiliar with the services that are offered to help students reach success. Among all the student assistance that is offered at Cerritos College, I would say one of the most important and beneficial advantages of being a student is the health center. The health center is a place where s student can receive all types of care including mental health counseling, nutrition guidance, and checkups for physical well-being. With a place that’s not too far away and completely free of charge, the Cerritos College health center is certainly a place that can reassure students and help them reach success.

HIV is known to be transmitted through blood products, semen and vaginal secretions, making the transmission of HIV infection most commonly through sexual contact and IV drug use. HIV can enter the body through contact with the bloodstream or by passing through delicate mucous membranes, such as inside the vagina, rectum or urethra (The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: HIV/AIDS, 2015). The transmission routes for HIV make unprotected sexual intercourse with an infected partner the number one reason for why HIV is on the rise. Often times this transmission route is the most dangerous, because those that are affected with the HIV infection do not know they have it unless they have been tested by their health care provider.
