I believe that a career choice is something that does not only forecasts a clear sense of purpose but also fits with ones goals and intellectual interests, which for me is Optometry. The human body is one of the most complex creations on earth and there is vast amount of room to explore. Through out high school I have always enjoyed learning about the human anatomy that encouraged me towards pursuing a career as an optometrist. Following my completion of high school I got married and moved to the UK with my husband who resides here. After moving to Birmingham, settling into a new family and a new country became my first priority. Though my motivation has kept me determined to recommence my studies and pursue a career as an optometrist. My
My interest in entering medicine was a combination of many factors. My love for biology, chemistry, and math in high school, and my admiration and high respect for doctors and their noble work gave me primary reasons for pursuing a career in Medicine. One of my college professors, great mentor Dr. Kamolov during one of his lectures mentioned that if you want to live happily keep in mind two things in your life. First, choosing your profession is crucial: you will spend most of your time in your job and if you choose the profession which you are interested in, you will be happy and be successful in your career. Second, choosing your spouse is vital: you will spend most of time with your family, with the right supportive spouse
Please describe what inspires your decision for becoming an optometrist, including your preparation for training in this profession, your aptitude and motivation, the basis for your interest in optometry, and your future career goals. Your essay should be limited to 4500 characters.
In life, choosing is never easy. Choosing what to wear, eat, where to go, and how to live. Choosing what you want to do for the rest of your life, is as easy as walking to the moon and back. There is no brochure that gives you a sure set of bullet points as to what you would like to do, instead, we are meant to simply discover what we would enjoy doing most. There are over a million different careers, yet I’ve chosen a profession in Dental Hygiene. Believe it or not, my first words were not in fact, “I want to become a dental hygienist”.
Everyone has their dreams and aspirations of what they want to be. The profession I plan to go into is the medical field. I am passionate about this because it feels great to help someone. Whenever a person is in need, it should be an instinct to help them and this is the main reason I am wanting to become a doctor. Every time I am sick I go to the doctor and they are able to help me get better. In a couple of days my sickness would be gone and I would be so happy and thankful that the doctor was able to assist me. This inspired me to become a doctor because once they finished their prognosis it makes the person feel so much better. Since I volunteer in a hospital over the weekends, usually discharging patients or delivering flowers it helps me see an aspect of what it would be like to work as a doctor. Communicating with patients and nurses has shown me it is a pleasure to help others.

The career I would like to pursue would be Ultrasonography. Ultrasonography is a diagnostic medical procedure that uses high frequency sound waves to see images of a patients internal organs, tissues and blood flow. I first became interested in this field when I became pregnant with my first child. I thought that the ability to see images on the inside of a person's body was very intriguing. I've had many ultrasounds in my lifetime and my favorite were always the ones where I got to see the development of my baby. To be able to see a human being before it's even born is one of the most phenomenal things you could ever imagine. To be an sonographer would be a very rewarding career in so many ways. I would be able to help my patients who were hurt or injured, yet I would also be able to show expecting parents there

My main career goals involve getting into the program, then getting a solid career in this profession. From there I plan on growing and getting even more education if it is offered, as well as branching out into other fields of Songraphy.

As a teenager, my mom was unsure of what career she would pursue. She took an aptitude at school and got an x-ray tech as a result. After telling her mom about her results, her mom set up a job shadow with an x-ray tech she knew. She found the x-rays so interesting, she started to consider it as a career choice. Radiologic technologists perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, and work with physicians to evaluate the images. She was also influenced by the benefits and job security
When it comes to someone picking a career, this can be complicated and sometimes even complex. When someone has finally chosen a career field, this just means that thy have decided that they have finally figured out what it is that they want to do in their life. It also means that they figured out that this career is something that they love and see their self-doing for a while, and it will be able to provide them with a comfortable lifestyle. However, I would have to say that is not what happened for me. The career I had chosen was not something that I loved doing. It was something that allowed me to be able to provide for my son. My career at this moment is working in the United States Army, as a logistic specialist. I have been within
The career I choose to become when I’m older is a pediatrician. I choose this career because when I was in the second grade our teacher was teaching a lesson on what you want to be when you 're older. I had no clue but I always wanted to help someone or something in needed like for example a vet or doctor.
Before starting career education, I had tried to give little thought towards what career I want to pursue in the very near future. After a few weeks of surveys and self evaluation, I have come up with three ideas of what I would like to do after high school. I am considering becoming an optometrist, veterinarian, or a registered nurse. To determine these three options, I took the following tests: personality, multiple intelligence, aptitude, and career. On top of this, I also used Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs to figure out which jobs best fit my needs and the ones I chose do that very well. The needs that they fulfill are a steady income, insurance, a sense of belongingness at work, recognition for my work, and feeling happy and proud of my
My top career choice is a neurologist. I have chosen this career because not only is it financially rewarding, I can help people live a better life like I always dreamed of doing as a kid. I want to be the person to be recognized for saving lives. I know that this job would be a lot of hard work, but I think all my time would be worth it saving lives. The brain has always fascinated me since I was little, I was always eager to learn more, and discover more things. I realize that this would be a challenge, but it is a challenge I am up for!
