The author states his views towards Violet, who is viewed as bizarre by even Titus her boyfriend, for wanting to resist the Feed. Titus does not care at the beginning and thinks the corporations that are used in society are good, but he does not realize until the end that consumerism and the society they live in is destructive, in their mind and their body. “It’s just my foot’s fallen asleep… She looked down at the table.
