Ray Larabie is from Ottawa, Canada. He has been creating fonts since he was young. His grandmother used to bring home stacks of dry-transfer lettering from work and give it to him. He studied these papers and learned all about fonts. He fell in love with fonts and memorized all of their names. When Ray got his first computer that is when he decided to start creating his own fonts. In the 1990’s, he started making free fonts and releasing them on his website called Ray Larabie Freeware Typeface of the week. Eventually he changed his website name to Larabie Fonts (Typodermic Fonts, 1). In 2001, he started a commercial font venture. Avriel Benjamin Kaplan was born on April 17, 1989, to Michael Kaplan and Shelly Kaplan in Visalia, California. Since Michael Kaplan was Jewish Avriel Benjamin Kaplan’s name was hard to pronounce, so they called him Avi for short. When Avi Kaplan was five years old his sister was born, Esther Kaplan. He went to school at Mt. Whitney High School. In school, Kaplan was bullied because he was part Jewish. As a freshman in high school, he was asked to join a chamber choir primarily made up of junior and senior students. When Kaplan was 15 he taught himself to play guitar, and later in life, he even performed at restaurants and other places. he performed at Visalia, California coffee houses. Kaplan wrote his first song called “Collision” which is very close to his heart.

The death of Mccandless was a controversial matter: people argued their thoughts on Mccandless’ story, and who's to blame for Mccandless' death. Some say it’s Mccandless’ own stupidity, or his honorable seek for thrill. Others say it’s his parents’ horrible way of raising him, or nature’s unforeseen acts. However, it is a mixture of all these, with Mccandless being the most at fault. Mccandless might have had choices, but there were things he couldn’t control, neither can anyone else.
