Overall Liz said there is just a lot more freedom here in America. You just have to use it wisely. Had her grandmother had come with her to America she would of graduated high school and maybe when on to college. Even with that she still wasn’t born in America so it is a lot harder for her to get important things her driving license or a degree. However, Liz is still thankful for coming to America.

John Wesley, Bailey's son, asks the grandmother, "If you don't want to go to Florida, why dontcha stay at home?" (320). June Star replies that "She wouldn't stay home to be queen for a day," and goes on to say, "She wouldn't stay at home for a million bucks. Afraid she'd miss something. She has to go everywhere we go" (320). Even though these statements from the children to their grandmother are disrespectful, they do describe her character, as she "was the first one in the car..." the following morning (320).
Even if just the imaginary daughter of the author, she partially replaces the long dead best friend Linda from his character’s childhood. She traveled back with him when he went to Vietnam on her birthday travel trip, and she was there when he buried a pair of moccasins in Kiowa’s memory. Throughout the book, she is the one who asks him
Finch tells Jean Louise that there's room for her, on page 272, he is stating that the conservative town of Maycomb, seemingly entranced in time, could use a few people such as herself. Thus, Dr. Finch is suggesting that Jean Louise move to Maycomb, and help bring about well needed change. However, as exemplified throughout the book, Jean Louise is her own person now, and should do what feels right for herself. Furthermore, her choice seems to be departure, as on page 272 she explains she can’t be in Maycomb anymore, there’s no fight left in her. However, if she were to stay, she could help bring about change in the town’s beliefs.
Walter Lee is what I see as a character who believes in his vision, when no one else could. He was raised by a strict, hard working Christian mother, who has a very honest outlook on life. She once said, “Once upon a time freedom used to be life—now it’s money. I guess the world really do change.”(Sun, 74). Walter is growing
“Do you really know the real reason behind Wonder Woman?” The Secret History of Wonder Woman was written by American historian Jill Lepore. The book was published in 2014 by the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group. The type of book is a biography that focuses on the life of William Moulton Marston and his companions, as well as feminism and birth control. The book briefly summarizes women’s struggles as they act against mankind for what they stand for, with the contribution of developing the super heroine, Wonder Woman. In Jill Lepore’s compelling work, Wonder Woman’s story is the missing link in the struggle for women’s rights, starting with the women’s suffrage campaigns of the early 1900s and concludes with the problematic setting of
Walter Lee, at the beginning of the play is hopeful to reach his dream. He expresses his excitement to Ruth and explains how his family’s life would be different if he was able to reach his dream. Walter talks
Walter begins to drink, stay away from home, and to constantly argue with his wife, Ruth. Walter's life is contrasted by the role of his recently widowed mother, who holds to more traditional values of acceptance of life's lot and of making the best of any situation. Walter Lee's "Mama" holds Walter's father up as an example of a man with pride and a man that, despite racial injustice in a dualistic society, worked hard to provide for his family. This adds to Walter's frustration. Walter now feels incapable and small in his mama's eyes.

Princess Diana was an inspiration for many people around the world and used her royalty to highlight major social issues. Diana’s dedication to humanitarian work helped to promote awareness and raise money for a wide range of charitable causes, including her campaign against landmines and her kind hearted approach to the AIDS predicament. Diana crossed boundaries to offer support to casualties and worked hard to change the opinions of the general public, which didn't particularly follow royal protocol because she lead from the heart, not the head.
