Spiderman Homecoming is a 2017 American superhero movie based from Marvel’s fictional character, Spiderman. It was directed by John Watts and starred by Tom Holland who portrayed as Peter Parker or the man inside the Spiderman suit. The movie started with Peter Parker, who is inside the Spiderman suit, vlogs about his training and how he get drafted to Avenger by Tony Stark, who is in the suit of Iron Man. However, Parker decided to resume his studies at the Midtown School of Science and Technology in New York City. Stark then said that he is not ready to become a full avenger. I applaud Holland’s role as Peter Parker because he could be a lazy student and at the same time, a great hero who could save the city. It had some entertaining actions which won’t lead the audience to be bored. Their all act naturally. They have the facial expression that is right for the character they are portraying. The plot have some great twists which we never knew would happen or would even shock us like Adrian Toomes being revealed as Liz’s father. These special effects even made the movie more interesting and colorful. In terms of script, those were so hilarious. They minimized saying foul words. They said the script clearly so that we could understand what they are saying. Overall, I give the movie a 4 stars over 5. This is one the best movies I have ever watched in cinemas. From start to finish, it was hilarious. From Peter Parker’s vlog until Aunt May discovered Peter being Spiderman. The line “If you are nothing without that suit, then you shouldn’t have it.” It means that if you are nothing without something, you shouldn’t have that. The explanation of that is that if you want to be successful, you should not say that you are nothing without something. You could still contribute without that thing. It teaches us to be your-self. Just because you don’t have that thing with you doesn’t mean that you are completely nothing. It could be a test for you whether you can do good without “that
‘The Spider-Man’ (the movie) is also a journey filled with adventure, thrill, excitement, making possible the impossible, conquering hearts and, performing feats which are best left to Dream Land, the world of fantasy.
To fully understand spiderman as an archetype in our culture we must first understand peter parker. Peter grew up with a loving family and spent most of his time with them when they weren't on business trips. Until one day Peter's parents left him with his aunt May and uncle Ben and hurried away. Soon after Peter answers the door to man who tells him his parents have died in a terrible plane crash. Several years later Peter is still living with his Aunt and Uncle and going to highschool.
The author of “The Birth of Spider-Man”, Max Bruno, and the author of “Stan Lee and Spider-Man”, Simmi Patel, both present their information about Spider Man differently and similarly through their purposes, points of views, and facts chosen.
t the end of the movie, Spiderman defeats the Green Goblin and enforces the motto that good triumphs over evil. This film conveys to the audience that it stands for honorable values such as strength, courage and love, as these are the ideals Spiderman stands for. However, the ending of the film also authenticates the notion that sometimes to overcome evil, the good guy must pay a price. This is evidenced in the last scene when Peter makes a brave and noble choice to say goodbye to his true love, Mary Jane. He knows that if he stays with her she may be in danger, so he sacrifices his desire for a future with her for her safety.
As told within the movie, Peter Parker’s grandmother believes “there’s a hero in all of us; gives us strength, makes us noble, even though some items we have to give up the things we love the most”(Sami Raimi). Neither Spiderman nor his alter ego, Peter Parker, ever showed any signs of fear(Spiderman). His incredible bravery allowed for him to fight relentlessly.
In the movie, “The Amazing Spider-Man,” the director uses the archetypes, The Battle of Good vs Evil, The Hero, The Tyrant, The Warrior, Sidekicks, and The Forest. We as humans, will not find our confidence in ourselves for a long time because bravery is a hard thing to accomplish and is a difficult task to do by yourself. This theme is conveyed throughout the entire movie because people need to step up and face the evil that could await them if they don’t find the confidence from what makes the person the person. Spider-Man was shown to be a nerdy high schooler who doesn’t make many friends. He gets bitten by a radioactive spider and gains powers that nobody would have ever imagined. Everything about him changed which made him fight evil
Oh gosh!!! There were so many things wrong with this movie, I am not even sure where to begin. So, "Vacation" is the seventh in the "National Lampoon's Vacation" series, and this one should have most definitely remained in the ether. This newest offering is hallmarked by the deirectorial debut of John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstien, both of which have been tapped to write the newest Spider-Man reboot, which if this movie was any indication of what is to come, does in no way bode well for poor ol' Spidey.
This lead to a total DNA change that turned him into a huge psychotic lizard. Peter Parker who had been bit by a radio active spider was now on a search to rediscover who he really is and only at the age of sixteen. If Stan Lee's classic comic was meant to teach us anything it was meant to teach us that we have a choice. Peter Parker a low income orphan, who was bullied and weak used his powers to become a hero. Osborne decided other wise. Using not Spiderman, but Peter Parker as my last explain I would like to show you that what makes a monster is more than the struggle for power as I earlier stated. It is the choice we make with that power whether it is given to us or taken.
The late actor, Christopher Reeve, once stated, “A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” In the epic, Odyssey, by Homer and the film, Spiderman, directed by Sam Raimi, the crux of the storyline relates to a hero and the challenges they face along the way. In the Odyssey, Odysseus is the main character. The epic tale outlines his travels as he attempts to travel back to his home against the will of some gods. In Spiderman, Peter Parker is the main character. He undergoes a transformation from a human to spider-like characteristics and abilities. Peter Parker devotes his life to saving others who are in need. Although

Being the hero that he is, Spider-Man decides to save both the children and Mary-Jane. A large battle between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin ensues, with the Green Goblin’s eventual death, and Spider-Man’s massive injuries being the result. Spider-Man finally defeats the enemy, in his final ordeal, saving New York from cold-blooded villainy for a while. Therefore, by completing, undergoing, and overcoming extremely difficult tasks such as battling with the enemy and saving the ones he loves, the film Spider-Man shows that it is part of the quest archetype.
“You don’t understand, Will. I am going to change the world. Imagine a real life Superman. A real life Spider-Man. Imagine the crime rate decreasing by like 80%. First person I’d go for the notorious Barefoot Bank Robber…” Peter left off, staring into space.
Once Harry finds out that Spiderman is who has killed his father he promises to avenge his father by killing Spiderman. Peter now understands the advice given to him by Uncle Ben. He is fighting with himself. He now realizes he needs to keep all the civilians safe, and now has a whole new personality and perspective. Peter’s preparetions are both knowledge and love of his life.
In 2002, Sam Raimi directed the first Spider-Man movie of the three-part series. In this movie, the famous Marvel comic book character, Peter Parker, adapts to his newfound super powers after being bitten by a genetically-enhanced spider on a high school field trip to OSCORP. Throughout this movie, he battles the infamous villain the Green Goblin, otherwise known as Norman Osborn, in New York City. Peter Parker is an outsider at his high school and has a crush on the beautiful and popular Mary Jane Watson, who is also Peter’s next-door neighbor, and she dates the typical high school jock. Peter’s only true friend is Harry Osborn, the son of Norman Osborn. Peter was raised by his aunt, May and uncle, Ben, after his parents died in a plane
When asked what makes the character of Spider-Man so popular, most people would probably say that it is due to his relatability. Peter Parker is just a kid, like all of us are or were, and that instantly makes him accessible to a wide audience. However, I never thought about that when I was a child. I grew up on the Sam Raimi films, which I still hold near and dear to my heart. I suppose I wasn’t smart enough at the time to realize the massive appeal of the Spider-Man character. For me, Spider-Man was just cool because of his colorful costume and his amazing powers. I was just a kid who loved awesome superheroes, and Spidey checked that box. Having graduated high school and preparing for college, I am now more aware of subtleties and nuances in film, while still retaining that childlike excitement for massive blockbusters. I have been anticipating the latest Spidey film for a very long time, and upon viewing the film twice, I’ve realized a glorious truth. For the first time in my life, at the age of 18, I finally related to the character on a deeper level than I ever thought possible, and that is what makes this film shine.
