A livable world is defined from the society you participate in everyday life. We as people make laws and regulations for situations that may or may not happen. This is because humans are imperfect and full of flaws. Laws and regulations are the guidelines for properly living in a society that dictates to the mass instead of hearing individual concern. Then again what is it meant to be “imperfect”? Who designates the description behind being perfect? This is what I believe is “the norm” or normal way of life of a society.

In today’s time, as it was in the past, feminism is met with a lot of negativity and backlash. This has led to feminism itself not being taken serious, leading to it being mocked and joked about. Another downfall could be that similar to a great deal of social movements, it may not last forever, and could lead to the brief pausing of sexual assault, instead of stopping it altogether. After being around for so many years if feminism had made more and better advances in the problem discussed here, it could be a great solution. However,

Throughout the history of this country especially beginning in the 1800s with the women's suffrage movement, women have fought for equality. It is no secret that the role of men versus women have change immensely over the last century however some things have not changed. Constant communication of feminism throughout the world will allow everyone in the world to realize that equal rights between genders are normal. Feminism is a necessary aspect of the human race until society gives equal rights to women so they can feel important when they give their opinion, can have a relationship that is not controlling, and get an occupation that men are controlling.

Women are often confined to a set of ideals and expectations because of one simple fact: they are women. Intersectionality is one of the most integral aspects of modern feminism because it recognizes that multiple factors - such as race, age, gender, class, religion, sexual orientation, etc. - contribute to one’s personal experience with sexism. Thus, one solution may not be the solution for everyone woman.
