“Hey, come back”, one of my friends shouted from the back as I was trekking in a mountain in Ladakh. The snow around made me feels that life was not just to live but to enjoy it to the fullest. As soon as I turned back to say “Shut up stupid”, I heard my alarm buzzing and I looked at the display and it was showing 5:00 a.m. 27th Oct 2025 and it made me realize that it was all a dream.
The morning started with the same schedule of waking up, getting myself ready for the office, checking my mails but soon realizing that we have now entered in that technical era where living without a personal home assistant was difficult. I am a senior project manager in Google handling two important projects and today is the day when one of my project is being launched for which I have been working since two years. It is based on the effective management of the crop grown every year in our country which will provide a platform to the farmers so that they can grow certain crops according to the weather using artificial intelligence and machine learning by keeping a track of weather forecast. I started this project with a hope that it will bring a revolution in the agricultural industry by managing the shortage and wastage of food crops. A successful launch of this project was all what I wanted and after celebrating the day with my team mates, I returned home. I entered my room and checked my cell phone and there were texts from my friends and family congratulating me for my project launch. I went to the balcony and looked at the sky with a sigh of relief on my face and a satisfaction in my heart and I started remembering my journey till date. I was a mediocre student but like all others I also wanted to go and study in the IITs .However I couldn’t get into but still got admitted to prestigious engineering college in Uttar Pradesh ,MMMUT ,Gorakhpur .It was a major change in my life as moving to a new city like Gorakhpur where people and their culture was entirely different from my native place ,which was Ghaziabad ,but accepting it as a challenge I moved on that made me feel “my independence” that instilled in me great confidence .
