Refugees are people that flee; especially: a person who flees to a foreign country or power to flee danger or persecution. An unprecedented 65.3 million people around the world have been forced from their homes. Among them are nearly 21.3 million refugees, over half of whom are under the age of 18.
There are also 10 million stateless people who had been denied a nationality and access to basic rights such as education, healthcare, employment and freedom of movement.
In the world where nearly 34,000 people are forcibly displaced every day as a result of conflict or persecution.(found on http://www.unhcr.org.)

They come from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Abilene and other countries. The refugees are mostly fleeing to Germany, Hungary, Italy, Sweden and, other places. They are trying to go somewhere else since they cannot go back home. They are also trying to get somewhere safe. The refugees are coming into the U.S.A by being granted an asylum. An asylum is a protection granted by a nation to someone who has departed of their native country as a political refugee.

Most of the immigrants that come to the United States are fleeing political and religious freedom as well as the "adventurer, the wanderer, the persecuted, the fortune seekers, and others. Immigrants established up the United States from the very beginning”.Also, people immigrate to the U.S for reasons like economic relief and religious and speech freedom. Why is there a refugee crisis?. The refugee crisis is millions and millions of refugees to Europe.
