6 best friends are all hanging at Kyles house one night for a group sleepover and they are engaged in a truth or dare session. Two of the friends, Lucas and Fleur, both have an interest in eachother but Fleur is conflicted with an interest in Kyle, who is Lucas’ best friend, but Lucas has more than an ‘interest’, he is obsessed with her. Knowing her since she moved across the street, since they started at the same school and since he sees her every single day and not be able to tell her how he feel then having to go home to his junky excuse of a father, who did nothing but drink all day and order him around, but not before disciplining him which usually left cuts and bruises around his arms, chest and face. Fleurs best friend, Monica, knows about this interest as it is common knowledge among the group and decides to stir a little drama. She dares Fleur and Kyle to kiss, knowing that this will cause a reaction in
Lucas. As expected, Lucas feels a small drop in his stomach as he watches the love of his life intimately embracing with his best friend. He is comforted only by laughing and ‘It’s only a game, guys. Hahaha he’s not even a good kisser’ . His hopes are stitched up and feel like he has dodged a bullet, only for that bullet to curve around and pierce him in the back.
Kyle leaves the room for the bathroom soon followed by Fleur who The two are gone for a while and Soku and Eve start coming up with scenarios that maybe they’re ‘getting it on’ in the bathroom or making out in Kyle's bedroom. Everything is still for a moment. The room is very tense and Kyle and Fleur look at each other then to Lucas and back again, but Lucas’ eyes are fixed on his best friend. The one person he could tell anything. The one person who was closest to him. The one person who knew about his love for Fleur. The silence was broken when Soku and Eve came clamoring in, with Soku’s crutches banging against the walls on the way in both exclaiming ‘Hmmm what's going on in here aye?’ . Lucas continued to stare deeply at Kyle, but Fleur got to her feet and quickly mumbled ‘Oh nothing, just all waiting for the bathroom. Right guys?’ .

Hahaha’ then bounded out of the room, grabbing Eve by the arm and pulling her with him. Fleur rushed out after them, red and facing the floor bumping Lucas’ shoulder on the way out.
