Something I want to be remembered for in this life is being the type of person who no matter what is always positive in every aspect in life. In this life we are going to have troubles rather it be losing a loved one, family issues and many others that exist. We have to go on with life because we can't just be negative all the time and depressed. I am the person where if I see people down, sad and giving up makes me feel like I did not do my job at all. Even if times are hard and you are ready to give up it should give you the right to just quit. You have to get up even harder to prove them and yourself wrong.
I have been in the organization called “Lionettes” at Ennis High School for the past two years which in fact I got the position
I want to be a drum major and squad leader for the 2018 season of marching band. I know I have the leadership qualities that are needed to fill these positions. The current leadership experience I have through band is being a previous squad leader, holding three band officer positions, and at times being the Symphonic Band clarinet section leader. Outside of band I am a member of the National Honors Society and am a mentor in MVP. I also frequently volunteer with programs that help children and I have been a preschool teacher in one program.
Throughout my school years, I have always tried to be a positive role model for younger students as well as my peers. This year I decided that the best way to serve my school was to participate in our school’s Student Leadership Council. It has proven to be a fantastic decision for me. I succeeded in getting the most votes out of all of the candidates and have had a great experience taking a leadership role in my school. I feel like I have become a much better leader and role model because of Student Leadership Council. I have been really fortunate to be exposed to the Jeter’s Leaders program, since they come to our school to mentor us as SLC members. It has been an incredible experience, and I would really love to continue with it. As an eighth grader at Saint Augustine, we are required to mentor our younger students. I
Throughout my high school career I have tried to impact the lives of those around me while also learning from those around me as well. Over the four years I have attended my high school,I have grown into a person who is now more attentive of the different people, opinions, and cultures that surround me and this in turn has allowed me become more open-minded. This would be the legacy I hope that I leave behind. When I graduate from school and consequently leave my community, I hope that I have left a legacy of growth. That my experience can be an example of someone else because it is my firm belief that the greatest legacy one can leave behind can be a legacy others can learn from.
I am intimately familiar with the workings of the club, as I have been involved in a leadership role from nearly the first day. While the rest of my fellow officers are seniors and will graduate this June, I hope to carry on in a leadership role and ensure the club we have worked so hard to establish will continue to flourish. Through my experiences this year, I know specifically which aspects of the club are running smoothly and which need more work; I know which of our efforts were successful, and which missed the mark. I hope to bring my knowledge to the NHS leadership team in my senior year so that the State High chapter will have a bright and stable future. Furthermore, I possess the qualities necessary to be a strong leader. In addition to my organizational abilities, I can communicate effectively and appropriately with both my peers and my teachers. I am dedicated to my work, and independently motivated to achieve success. I am an excellent team player, having had significant practice this year both leading a team as an officer and working within a team and delegating tasks as head of the Bunny Hop 5k advertising committee. Given the opportunity, I would enthusiastically utilize and continue to develop all of these skills as president of the State High
Recognition with the invitation to National Honors Society is an incredible opportunity to come across in the four years of high school. It would be an honor to become a member of National Honors Society to attain leadership qualities throughout my high school career. When I moved to Peachtree City in the 9th grade, I have stacked leadership skills and activities to help others in need that qualify to become a candidate for National Honors Society through campus involvement and community involvement. Interactions with the Mcintosh faculty and students give a chance to build leadership skills by creating friendship. Throughout my high school career, I have joined club organizations such as spanish club, where I worked together among my peers
also, have been a member of The National Honor Society (NHS) for two years and am the presiding
I have attended MFU camp for the past 11 years, summer of 2016 I was selected to be a member of YAC to represent MFU camp. Throughout my years in high school, I have attended several leadership camps and activities. For example, I severed as class officer for Student Council, Secretary of National Honor Society, President of Character Counts,
I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to pursue my love of performing arts in a safe, creative and accepting environment. Therefore, through my time and influence, I want to give back to my school and community. Every day I strive to share my positivity, humor and thoughtfulness with my peers. I would be excited to be able to help others with a group of like-minded people in the Performing Arts Academy’s National Honor Society. If inducted, I will be an extremely involved and necessary leader in the organization. I will use my strengths in leadership, conflict resolution and compassion to move the National Honor Society forward through scholarship and service.
I am truly honored to be one of the candidates for National Honors Society this year. I’ve seen what a difference this society makes in our school, and I believe that my leadership skills would make a valuable contribution to this organization. This last year I was made the president of our school's Thespian Society and have been a strong leader for our troupe. It is my job to make sure meetings run smoothly and oversee that the agenda is getting done efficiently and effectively. In addition to theater, last year I was the witch in our marching band’s show, “Emerald City.” Basically, my role was to direct the band for part of the show and help lead the members to their proper positions and placements. Making sure all of the props for the show were placed and stored correctly was a priority as well. This was a lot to take on as a sophomore and required extra time outside of practice to make sure that it got done.
The National Honor Society is a prestigious organization that I have been looking forward to being part of since I started high school. I have the leadership qualities that are required to be part of this organization because I am involved in activities inside and outside of school. I have the ability to lead and assist with activities around and outside of school. With my leadership skills, I believe I will be able to make a major difference and contribution to National Honor Society. Leadership qualities are a natural part of my life.
The legacy that I want to leave is that, I want people to remember me as a good, funny, friendly, and honest person. The girl who was smart and quiet in school, but wild (funny, cool, being myself) at home. I was very nice to people and my friends. People would always say, Aaliyah is so nice and cool. But I’m not so nice when you mess with me, and you’re rude to me. I will give I right back to you. I deserve the same respect from you that I give to you. If you disrespect me, I will disrespect you, because you can’t just disrespect me and don’t expect me to disrespect you back either. I am a person of RESPECT
I have been an officer for FFA, a captain in football and basketball, and have been selected for NHS because of my leadership skills. I have kept a 3.8 GPA throughout high school and am in scholars
The boys and girls club is a very influential part of every community in America. While the organization provides a safe place to grow, life-enhancing programs, and opportunity to millions of children in the community I am truly esteemed to apply for the community outreach or event management
I want to be remembered as someone who was easily approachable with anything. With most of my friends, they know that they can talk to me about anything. I want to be remembered as someone who was friendly and someone who could help with any problem. I also want to be remembered as someone who was fun and was never too uptight about anything. I never get too stressed out about anything and whenever I am around friends or family, I always try to have fun. In my legacy, I hope to be remembered as someone
Whether or not a person admits it, everyone on the planet has the desire to be remembered. They want to leave an impression on the people around them and leave those people with fond memories of who they were and what they did. For me, the idea of making an impact on someone’s life was my ultimate goal. However, it took me a while to discover how exactly that goal would be achieved.
