CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH - An exploding bag of money leads to a robber in a trashcan.
An Akron man robbed the First Union Bank in Cuyahoga Falls on Monday. The suspect claimed to have a shotgun under his raincoat. The bank teller gave him the money in a paper bag that he was carrying with him. Along with the money, the bank teller included an exploding dye pack in the bag, which exploded as the man left the bank. The robber fled on foot after he threw the bag of money into the bushes.
Police found the suspect in a trash bin behind a McDonald’s in Cuyahoga Falls.
