The Northern Pacific seastar is a 40 to 50 large predator that is found in Australia and other countries. Northern Pacific sea stars have five arms and each of these arms joins in the center of the organism to form a central disc. These sea stars shows a wide range of colors, from orange to yellow, and sometimes purple on their dorsal side. They have a row of spines from each arm that comes together near the mouth area. Spines also line the ventral groove of each arm, where the tube feet are found. These sea stars are generally found close to shore on either mud, sand or pebble substrates but can live in depths up to 200 metres. They are known to be voracious predators with a varied diet, essentially eating any type of animal that they encounter.
On ABC’s Good Morning America’s Weekend Adventure special, viewers were taking to new depths of excitement and adventure as tourists went face to face with the beautiful Caribbean Reef Shark off the coast of the Bahamas. The video clip we saw showed tourists from around the world getting up close and personal with these huge, majestic fish. Participates were ecstatic after there trip down under with the fish. One tourist says, “No other dive compares to it”. How have these people been attracted to these adventure dives, and what makes these so appealing? Those are the questions I will explain in the next paragraph.

Everyone dreams to be able to go to SeaWorld, to see the whales—these majestic creatures gracefully swimming, so close to you. Then, you can go see the Shamu show, and you can see all the tricks the whales have been trained to do. When one finds out about the whale’s life, everything changes. Killer whales in SeaWorld are held in captivity without the necessary living conditions or treatments. Due to this, the whales should be released because they can acquire mental health issues and anger can build up, causing them to act out against trainers.

Have you ever had a dream where you are alone, drifting in the middle of the ocean, and you see a fin piercing through the waves? What you were seeing was the Carcharodon carcharias or the Great White Shark. It is a member of the Pisces class and mainly lives in tropical and subtropical areas.. The Great White Shark is unlike many sharks because it jumps out of the water. The Great White Shark truly is a great shark.

They will eat really any fish, shark, or small animal, which is why they often mistake humans for food. When they attack a person, they usually don’t let go, like the great white shark. They have an excellent sense of smell and sight. They have a blunt snout, so they can smell way better.
