The Muscular system has three types of muscle , Cardiac, Smooth, and Skeletal. The
Cardiac muscle is the heart. Without the muscle system everything wouldn’t move and if your
heart is healthy you can become very sick or possibly die.
The muscles are part of the muscular system. The muscular system helps the body move
around. Each type of muscle does different things. “Your body has three types of muscle tissue-
Skeletal muscle, Smooth muscle, and the cardiac Muscle. (Coolidge-Stolz 24)” Most of the
muscles in your body are Skeletal muscles. Your heart is the only Cardiac muscle. Smooth
muscles work involuntarily.
The structure and functions of the muscle, give the body strength and shape. The skeletal
muscle is attached
The three types of muscles in your body are smooth muscles which is in your organs like your stomach, cardiac muscles which is in your heart, and skeletal muscles which is in muscles like your bicep.
[1] The muscular system is used to maintain the body, hold the body together, and to allow the body to move. Many muscles cover the body and allow it to function to the best of its abilities; however, there are three types of muscles which allow the body to function: skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscles. Skeletal muscles use connective tissue to attach to the skeletal structure, and allow for movement of the body. Smooth muscles function by forming structures such as blood vessel walls or the walls of the digestive tract. The cardiac muscle, also known as the heart, functions by pumping blood throughout the body.
The heart is a muscular organ that rests behind the sternum. The heart pumps blood through a network of arteries and veins that makeup the cardiovascular system. (The Heart (Human Anatomy)
types of muscle tissues : skeletal, cardiac, smooth. Each of these different tissues has the ability
The Myocardium is made up of specialised cardiac muscle, only found in the heart and is not under voluntary control.
When cells are grouped together they form what is known as a tissue. Different types of tissue make up different types of organs. The 3 main types of tissue are Muscular, Nerve and Epithelial. The muscular tissue is made up of three forms, they include the skeletal, smooth and cardiac tissues.
Thirdly our muscular system also allows blood circulation which is controlled by the heart. The muscular pump is a skeletal muscle group that help to assist the heart in the circulation of blood to all the muscles around the body.
There are three types of muscle tissue: skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle. Skeletal muscle is attached to bones and helps with movement. Cardiac muscle is found the heart helping the heart to contract and pump blood through an organism. Smooth muscle lines the walls of organs in the digestive and urogenital tracts.
There are three types of muscle tissues in the human body: skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscle. Skeletal muscles are striated muscles that attach to the bone by tendons and permit movement. Skeletal muscles promote movement by contracting and relaxing in response to voluntary messages from the nervous system, deeming skeletal muscles, the only voluntary muscles in the human body. Smooth muscles are involuntary muscles found inside the walls of the stomach,
Smooth muscles are found in the skin, internal organs, reproductive system, major blood vessels, and excretory system. Skeletal muscles are composed of long fibers surrounded by a membranous sheath, the sarcolemma. Since the Skeletal muscles are under control by whom ever they belong to are called voluntary muscles. This muscle is attached to two or more bones which are then attached to the skeleton by tendons. For example, head and neck muscles; contraction of these muscles produces facial expressions and head movements. They are also responsible for speech and swallowing. Skeletal muscles are the main muscles which move your body. Muscles nearly always work in coordinated groups; contraction of one muscle is accompanied by relaxation of another, while other muscles stabilize nearby joints. Then the last of the muscle types is the Cardiac Muscle or the involuntary muscles. Cardiac muscles are not under conscious control they do not react by a persons decision or movement. and are connected to the nervous system which are stimulated by autonomic impulses. Cardiac muscles are found in your internal organs like the heart or the intestine. For example; they include muscles that propel food through the intestine and those that control sweating and blood pressure.
The muscular system is the part of the body that assists with motor function and movement. There are three types of muscles in the human body that are included within this system. Smooth muscles are involuntary and are found inside organs such as the stomach and throat. Skeletal muscles are voluntary and are located everywhere throughout the body. The third type of muscles are cardiac muscles that are involuntary and keep your heart beating.
Each cardiac, skeletal, and smooth muscles are special and different in their own way. Cardiac muscles are found in the heart. They are involuntary muscles which means that people cannot control them. Skeletal muscles are connected to bones by tendons to work with the skeletal system. Some examples are the tricep, bicep, quadricep, and the deltoid.
The heart is responsible for moving the body’s blood, and is primarily composed of cardiac muscle. Similar to skeletal muscle, the cells are
The main role of the cardiac muscle is to keep the heart beating. The muscle has a large number of mitochondria and numerous myoglobins because the muscle is different to other muscle cells as it never gets tired and it is to provide a good blood supply.
Cardiac muscle tissue is a specialised muscle tissue that is only found in the heart. It is an involuntary muscle as it doesn’t response to the needs of your body, even though it’s controlled by the brain. In contrast, to the skeletal muscle which is a voluntary muscle as the brain controls the movement but you are aware of the movements.
