His parents were Mary Arden and John Shakespeare, and he was one of eight children. Joan was the eldest and died at the age of two months, Margaret was alive for one year, William lived to be 52, Gilbert was 46 years old, Joan (number 2) lived to be 77 years of age, Anne died at 8, Richard died at 39, and the youngest, Edmund, lived to be 27. When William Shakespeare was just 13 he had to discontinue his education to help his father, who was a glove maker. They weren’t a very rich family and they did struggle at times. When he was going to college, he attended King Edward VI School and married Anne Hathaway in 1588 when he was 18 years old and she was 26. They had three children together, Susanna, Judith, and Hamnet. Susanna was the first born in 1583, and Judith and Hamnet are twins who were born in 1585. Where did he live? When and why did he leave Stratford and set out for London theatrical world? William Shakespeare had a very intersting life.William Shakespeare ended up to be a world known playwright and poet, most people would consider this a success and conclude that Shakepeare had a good life. He also channeled his delight, and humor, and every other emotion and experience into his writing, this is how he could make all the different types of plays come to life. William Shakespeare's life experiences are what made his reputation what it is today. Shakespeare's childhood, family and acting carear all had big influences on his writing.
At age 18 he married Anne Hathaway, the daughter of an apple farmer and they soon were blessed with three children. Susanna was born in 1583 and the twins, Hamnet and Judith, were born in 1585. William found himself in his early twenties as a father and a man without a proper trade so he decided a change of scenery was in order.

Through 1595 and 1605, what some may call Shakespeare’s “Middle Period”, over 30 plays were not only written, but also quite successful. Some are: Hamlet, MacBeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and more. After his great achievements, in 1613, Shakespeare returned to Stratford-upon-Avon and later died.

Nevertheless, scholars agree on several details about his early life, his mid-life, and his professional accomplishments.
The record of The baptism marks the start of an important gap in the documentary evidence of Shakespeare's life. On February 10, 1616 Shakespeare's younger daughter, Judith, married Thomas Quiney, the son of his Stratford neighbor in Richard Quiney. Six weeks later, Shakespeare revised his will. Within a month, he died. He was buried inside the Stratford parish church. His monument records the day of his death as april 23, the generally accepted date of his birth. Shakespeares son, Hamnet, died in 1596 at the age of 11, the playwright’s daughter Susanna had one child, Elizabeth, who had no children. While shakespeare's daughter Judith had given birth to three boys, but they died before she did. Shakespeare's last direct descendant, his granddaughter Elizabeth, died in 1670. This was a extremely hard time for the family especially having to deal with financial problems then having there young daughter die.
