Richard Burton played the most effective Hamlet out of the three options. This soliloquy should show that Hamlet is trying to push himself to commit the act of murder. This is because he really does not want to do it but he has to avenge his father. It is a normal human response to push yourself to do something you do not want to do, and Richard displays this perfectly. His portrayal is believable because it seems like he runs through the very emotions that a person would go through in this situation.
