Roman is a wide topic to do a research on. With the knowledge from my teacher I have decided to let this essay mainly speaks to Roman historical events and their influence on ancient Roman theatre. To do research on these topics I first have to understand and have knowledge on certain words, such as Rome, Romans, Historical, Influence. Rome is said to be the capital of Italy, While Rome is the name given to the citizens living in the community. According to geo kids, “Rome was founded in 753BC by its first king, Romulus. It grew into a rich and powerful city during the next few hundred years”. Historical according to dictionary.com historical means “of, pertaining to, treating, or characteristic of history or past events” While influence is said to be the way you can have an effect in a good or bad way in something or someone. Those four words were necessary and as this essay continues it will come out and show the reasons why. Roman was always seen as a large country and as the years goes by the population expands more. the Rome Empire was attacked by Visigoths, which was led by a man name Alaric. They totally destroyed the city and left it to burn. This destruction went on for three days, tearing down, burning etc. It was the first time in ages Rome was under control by someone else from Romans. It was said that a main contributor to the destruction was the up rise of a new religion, Christianity.
