Religious beliefs cannot be used as a measure in determining whether a couple is capable of raising a child or not. Children adopted by homosexual couples have the same opportunities to succeed as children being adopted by heterosexual couples. Although these children will indeed have two mothers or two fathers, the majority of society has come to acknowledge these differences making it an unrealistic worry. These children are being given the opportunity of having an actual family, which I believe will be more accepting and understanding of differences, and essentially, a way out of foster care and orphanages.
