1. Describe the pathophysiology of an acute asthma attack in B.J. following exposure to cats.

Catnip and catmints are mainly known for, the effects they have on cats, particularly domestic cats. Approximately two thirds of cats are susceptible to the effects of catnip, as the phenomenon is hereditary. The fact that it only elicits such a response in a proportion of cats—and that it is such a dramatic response—suggests that a genetic element is involved that is enriched in domesticated breeds.

Around 2-15% of the worlds population is allergic to cats and 1/3 of these have a cat in their home.

The visual presentation that I chose to do is the “The Black Cat” by Edgar Allan Poe. It is a combination of a two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork. Different types of materials were used such as wood, Styrofoam, cardboards, pom poms, etc. to enhance the visual presentation of the story. Since the black cat is the major character in the story, I chose the color black, white, gray as the majority colors of the presentation.
