Where demand exceeds supply and no effective management operates, there will be conflicts between the various players involved.

The fights are mostly over fresh water because it mostly needed and necessary. Fresh water is most hard to get since most of our fresh water is frozen and unable to get. With fresh water being limited it could get worse over time with the climate change. The war for fresh water is also because in some areas there’s no source to get water. Global water shortage is causing terror in third world countries. In many other countries there have been killings over water, protesters for more water. Water is a privilege. Living in the 21first century America, many individuals including myself have forgotten this. Many families all over the world are forced to walk miles for water just to find that it isn't even clean. Water shortage is a problem all over the world, but especially in poor countries like Africa. Because individuals all over the world have to get their water, my class did a water walk to understand their pains, but I would change it by making it longer, carrying more water, and having harsher conditions.

With little or no water people would have to make hard decisions such as, letting an animal dehydrate so they can have enough water for their families to survive or who they should ration the water to and how much to ration to save as many people as possible. California has been experiencing a very severe drought that has cost California millions of dollars in agriculture and manufacturing due to low water. Though their drought is not apocalyptic yet, but it could worsen and become an apocalypse that we should fear. The changes that can come from such a disaster would change the lives of everyone in society. The ways water shortages could come about is multiple ways such as, drought, poor management of water, or political issues. Water corruption is a threat to society which needs to be dealt with efficiently and immediately.

The scarcity, depletion and polluting of water in one of the world's driest regions, is a problem that has perplexed the nations of the Middle East for decades. The riparian states of the Jordan River Basin include Israel, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. These states are in a constant struggle over securing water rights for their respective states.
