Manly Sea Eagles secured their place in the 2015 VB NSW Cup finals campaign by completely blowing the Wentworthville Magpies away 58-16. Tom Symonds scored a double was inspirational for the Sea Eagles, while Jayden Hodges was at his creative best out of dummy half. Kurt Aldridge had a near perfect afternoon with the boot, kicking nine goals from ten attempts in the 42-point victory. The match began with both teams blowing their first opportunity on the attack, before Symonds palmed off a defender and burst through a hole after a wonderful show and go to open the scoring for the Sea Eagles. The rest of the first half was incredibly poor for the Magpies, who were flat in defence and struggled to make any impact with the ball in hand. The Magpies defence fell for a second show-and-go in just the 32nd minute when Manaia Rudolph dummied and charged through a massive hole to increase the Sea Eagles lead to 18-10. Rudolph then threw a skillful cutout ball on the run just four minutes later to Berryman, who finished his second try of the afternoon. Tony Satini combined with David Williams to march 80 metres up field off the kickoff, which immediately placed the Sea Eagles on the attack. Hodges sold a ball out of dummy half, spun through a defender and planted the ball down to make the halftime score 28-10. The Magpies dominated the opening 15 minutes of the second term after the Sea Eagles dropped the ball on the first tackle of the half. James Tuitahi was just centimeters away from scoring an athletic try for the Magpies, before Williams pulled off an incredible try saving tackle to deny the visitors once
To begin the game, the Eagles received the ball first and it was a perfect opening drive for Wentz and the offense. On the first drive, Wentz went 4-for-5, finding tight end Zach Ertz for a ridiculous one-handed 14-yard catch on first down and ending it with a 19-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jordan Matthews.
During the annual Ely Tigers v. Dilard Panthers football game, the game was decided at the end of the 4th quarter during a touchdown scoring catch. The wide receiver, Donnell Wilson, caught the ball in the end zone to score. It was a clean catch in the right place at the right time that resulted in the game-winning touchdown.

The War Eagles crushed the Mustangs in a 35-10 victory! Twadylor, having been the star of the game, caught 2 TD and had 150 receiving yards. As celebration, the team went to Mallard. There, they met up with Greg. The whole team feasted that night. Greg and Twadylor became star receivers on the team.
The Redskins would use 14 plays and go 80-yards for their next score, at the 5:40 mark of the second quarter. The scoring play was a 1-yard run by,D'orazio. The point after kick gave the Redskins a,14-0 lead.
A kick from Anderson started the game, not long after, QB Lucas Smith runs a 18yd touchdown, starting the game out with a 7-0 Turpin lead. The Redskins’ Kyle Blaha soon persevered through the unforgiving Turpin defense and ran a 2 yd touchdown, evening out the score out 7-7. “Our offense and defense did well, but there’s always room for improvement.” Coach Kenter explained after Turpin gave up 21 points in the first half. “But I think this was one of better games of the entire season, the team really brought it.” Second quarter brought both the Spartans and Redskins 2 new touchdowns each and an exciting 65 yard pass Turpin touchdown, Smith to Will Hausfeld. Halftime stopped the intense game at a suspenseful score of 21-21.

PVAMU took advantage of the GSU’s missed opportunity and marched down the field from the 24 yard line. Lee and the Panthers appeared to have the Tigers on their heels as they moved the ball to the GSU’s 33 yard line. Granby came out in the 1Q with a heavy dose of Giovanni Jones, and it was making Jamestown sick as they had no answer. The Wang twins were not able to find the basket in this period, maybe the next, but until then Diamante Brown and Jason Schmidt, This gave the Eagles an opportunity to stay in the game with not much time left in this 1Q. Granby would close out this quarter strong leading 23-14.
During the first quarter, Wellington trampled over Ark City. Literally, in fact, a couple of Eagle players received fouls because they could not keep their hands and feet to themselves. Despite the fact that the Eagles play dirty, the Bullpups had good defense playing. One example is when Bryce bounces the ball from an Eagle player’s grip without getting fouled.
